An absurdist, occult art piece that is critical of various political ideologies from Hegelian to Kantian schools of thought. It's a very wordy game, and you fight encounters with dialogue rather than combat. The atmosphere is incredible, very much worth a try.

One of the best games of all time. No other action game tops Devil May Cry 3 SE.
The music, gameplay, atmosphere, story, even the puzzles are absolutely amazing.
Devil May Cry 2 is a letdown. But Devil May Cry 1 and Devil May Cry 3 make up for it, definitely a valuable purchase.

Rough around the edges, really frustrating in the early game, and the game doesn't feel rewarding until you get some levels in. Regardless, I had fun.

One of the most impactful games I've played. It lives in my head even a year after playing. It's a very unique deconstruction of the mind-body problem and functionalism/existentialism. The game hones in on more psychological horror than the typical startling nature of Amnesia games through its story, with the encounters not being as memorable.
Many people critique this by equating it to a walking simulator, but the horror is only effective from trying to dismantle your sense of self and continuity by immersing you into Simon's perspective, which I think could not be done without it being a game.
Very much worth a playthrough.
