After bugging amplitude for years to fix the game as latest DLC left it in slight dissaray we were handed a patch that, in my opinion broke the game even further and made it unplayable ever since.

If you play it with ESG mod though, it's okay.

But for some reason I can't enjoy it anymore.

Good passtime, clicky clicky blowy blam blam "a storyline" which you won't really care for, lots of ways to play, could use more cahracters.
Lots of mods and active community support - although you cannot switch mods without switching chars.

Lacks the DX9 support, so I can not play with a friend - miss those times when a game could do more. Otherwise the gameplay is great for it's time, even the graphical part.

Repetitive, good thing to play under the influence with friends, not otherwise - not worth investing.

Takes long time to play, awesome anyway. Lacking multiplayer support - no matchmaking - unless you buy this with multiple friends and actually plan the game ahead, you don't have a decent chance at playing something bigger than 2 v 2 and even that is rare.

Multiplayer was fun, for 3,5 Hours that is. If 6 hours of gameplay are worth your penny, go for it.

This game is both great and awfull, takes up lot of time, but I like the clicky slow tactical logic. As far as multiplayer goes : no matchmaking nor a "league", frequent desynchronizations in the game resulting in the host needing to rehost - but you can at least continue from a save.
