The good:
The cars are an absolute blast to drive, fun and responsive.
Car contact when fighting for position is not heavily 'penalised', with great netcoding.
I am using a not-so-popular PXN DD wheel and its setup was a breeze, the FFB is amazing, road surfaces, kerbs, and ABS activation are really noticeable.
The graphics are gorgeous and the ingame performance is great on my 6750XT, so much better than ACC in this aspect.
The integrated ranking system works well and provides great splits with fair and close racing, with very populated races every 30 or so minutes.
You can always race in the 'begginer' daily races with the base game content, in any of the classes (stuck to the mclaren in LMGT3).

The bad:
Some minor bugs (getting stuck in menu for ex.), though i didn't have many of those.

Overall highly recommended, I really enjoy ACC, but driving and racing in LMU just feels better.

This is really a gem of a game, the kind that brings tear of joy to your eyes.
Play it and let yourself get lost.
