More limited customisation than the other packs and didn't even include any of the successor chapters.
Needs the Wolfspears at the very least.

Ignoring for a moment the disappointing end to the campaign, missing content, downgraded cutscenes, both factions being released unfinished, crazily imbalanced skirmish/pvp and a litany of bugs...

Why does the EULA give Gearbox permission to all your personal data? Why are we saddled with Denuvo malware?

It feels like, despite all the delays, the game was rushed or rebooted at the last minute without the people they needed to finish the job. And then Gearbox decided to screw over its the legitimate customers on top of it all.

On the positive side, the soundtrack is fantastic. Paul Ruskay never misses.
The first few campaign missions are pretty fun and there *is* a salvageable game in there. I just don't have any hope that it will be fixed.

The music is fantastic. Another Ruskay masterpiece.
Metadata is mostly missing and some of the file names are wrong. Hopefully this can be corrected.

It seems not much care has been put into the publishing which is a real shame given the high quality of the soundtrack.

Basic gameplay is solid and reasonably balanced. The "Battlepass" is abysmal, extremely sparse rewards and tonnes of filler. Even the few cosmetic unlocks are so restricted you can only use certain colours on certain combinations of specific armour.

It might be worth the entry cost of free but do not pay.

Just updating to say yeah, still the same.
Weird dichotomy of fantastic lore (and story) and frustrating gameplay and progression. The best feeling gunplay and the worst PvP experience.

Get the most out of Destiny by watching some lore videos on youtube and not playing the game.

Now that the worst of the server instability has been fixed and the game is regularly playable I can again recommend it.

The action is compelling, the co-op synergy is satisfying and the story goes far deeper than I expected. Finally this appears to be a completed game worthy of its triple A status and not left hanging with huge swathes unfinished.

There are still some niggling issues but the devs are communicating very well about addressing these in the upcoming patches.

Overall worth getting in to for some fun gun play, power slinging and loot hoarding with mates.

The 2.0 update adds everything that was lacking from the initial release (bar the HW1 credits music). The newly added physically stimulated ballistic weapons, strike craft formations and intelligent strike groups have combined the best tactical features from HW1 and 2 into this masterpiece.

If you're getting this revitalised classic (2 remastered games AND the 2 originals) on sale you're getting an incredible bargain. One of the best space operas ever available to gamers, well worth it even at full price.
