I said come in, don't stand there!

It's better than anything I hoped for - open world map seamlessly integrating everything we've seen before with more areas inbetween, all the good ideas that the mods introduced in the past have been integrated and the gunplay is pretty good.

If you liked the Metro Exodus free roam maps, this is that but better.

It is worth waiting for a sale if you haven't bought it yet - the game is still going to be updated due its teething issues and the modding scene is only growing.

I'm not even mad that Siege is ruined now, this is doing it for me way better than that game could ever have

A genuine masterpiece, I can't bring myself to stop playing it at this point. I've had plenty of laughs but also frustration with this game.

Let's start with the pros:

Innovative level design, think Mario 64 (I haven't played it since I don't support nintendo as a company) but aimed at modern audiences, so it's a bit more casual I suppose but still very accessible and fun.

Great combat, it actually is very punishing since sometimes the enemies are unpredictable and learn from your usual patterns, kinda like Shadow of Mordor but more advanced, I'm pretty sure the developers had hard time over designing the combat which I suppose took years to develop. Apparently the game got additional funding from the Brasil government (I think that's the country of origin, whatever it was the government of the country the devs are based in that helped them) which sped up the process by a huge amount.

It's fortunate that happened since we wouldn't have other games have their combat and puzzle design inspired by this. MUA (not to be confused with Marvel Ultimate Alliance) has been a breakthrough title in many aspects since its release but many games unfortunately claim they have invented new mechanics which actually come from MUA.

So, I'll just round it up with a list of features

Pros -

Impressive combat
Great puzzle design (I'd consider myself a puzzle game afficionado and this still blew me away in the first hour)
Amazing replayability, although to note here that I still haven't finished it but I've watched a lot of speedruns
Cheap price, it's pretty insane how cheap it is but in Brazil this money gets you same stuff as in the developed world would with a full 60 dollar release so the difference feels stark only to us.
Continuous dev support, you can send them suggestions and they still release DLC which is amazing!

Cons -

60FPS lock, but the graphics make up for it.

Just play Stronghold Crusaders, this is just overrated casualised experience of it.

Gameplay seems fresh and extremely fun but if you are just meeting the minimum requirements then beware that you might not get the most optimised experience yet. The devs are working on the issue though and will take community feedback to improve the game as much as they possibly can.
