Still the Elder Scrolls with the best immersive lore.

Having this as a DLC is just plain bad. It's always been in the base game.
NG+ is not implemented properly: it doesn't pose a new challenge and even at Hard and Legend difficulty you're already overleveled and equipped with the best gear.
There is no new gear to replace and stuff that carries over makes the minigames useless to re-play, which can be seen as something nice if you want to breeze through the content but it also makes this something that, regardless, would've been worth playing if it was just in the base game.
The new Dungeon is mindless, uninteresting and boring, because if you did properly the base game content you're already smashing through, again. The new scenes are not worth: watch a Youtube video, they're not even voiced or have ties with the main story.
The outfits are nice as a quirk extra if it was in the base game, but since you can't use those outside the battle in the main game they're useless.
New Sujimons will break your minigame and I wouldn't recommend using them: it will strip all the fun.
The item boosts are kinda useless.

Overall the GOOD part is that you don't need this.
DO NOT BUY.

The perfect bridge between Y6 and Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.

It's rare to see a game being a love letter to a country, but Ishin really accomplishes that.
The game is more a remastered than a remake of the original title, but the heart and its engaging story is all there. Fans of the LaD franchise will totally enjoy this take on the series and discover even more about Japan's culture.
Highly recommended.

Without a doubt one of the best RGG Studios titles. Totally worth the full price.
