A rogue-like First Person Shooter that has crawl through multiple levels of a dungeon, each with multiple rooms you have to go through, looking for a boss key to fight the boss, allowing you to move forward, all tied together with face paced combats, as you grow stronger.

You start each level in a room, and from there you get to travel through rooms, some rooms are battle rooms, where you fight a number of different enemies, usually having to kill them all, but sometimes with alternative objectives. some rooms have traps, hazardous terrain, or platforming, and some rooms offer loot.

The fighting mostly consists with using and switching between 4 categories of attacks, 3 of which have their own mana pool. one is your default, having auto-regenerating mana pools. the other 3 weapons offer different effects, from freezing enemies to explosive splash damage.

You may also find an item, providing you with an effect on use, such as healing or a speed boost. as you kill monsters, you will also earn experience, granting you the ability to upgrade your character with extra stats. You can additionally acquire extra stats from shrines found in each level, for a price, with a chance of negative stats.

This game also offers some nice replayability with multiple difficulties, character unlocks, and as you play, you unlock upgrades and weapons to appear in future games.

Ziggurat makes for a great Rogue-Like, each run having it's own feel. The battles are great and fast paced, reminescent of the older Doom games. It also has that skill element of Nuclear Throne, where you can play in such a way to not get hurt, but you can also easily get overwhelmed with by enemies and mistakes.

this game had so much potential, however, it got taken over jagex, halting progress on the game, on top of the very toxic community with no way to punish or report bad behavior, makes for an unenjoyable game. not to mention it is currently dead.

a classic, smooth, controls well, you can play rush through the game or take your time. possibly the best rogue-like game there is. all levels procedurally generated, you generally have low health with many things able to take you out in a single hit, requiring your every move to be calculated. great music, great art, great arena multiplayer. just one of the best games ever.

Early Access Review
great automation city builder/simulation game that gives you a lot of options on how to go about progressing. it has many ressources, many buildings, many opportunities to optimize your town. one unique thing to this automation city builder is that it is in 3d, allowing you to stack buildings on top of each other, create bridges, or a sky town. the developer is also very responsive with active updates.

Choosing from 9 classes, a customizationable 3 slot loadout, dozens of game modes, a ton of maps creates a game with tons of customization and replayability. each class has a unique play style and a nice feel ot them providing a different gameplay each.

One of the best RTS and a unique one too. The way resources are managed, structures and units made, unit selection, commands, the physics of shots all lend to it's uniqueness. It also comes with lengthy campaigns.

Simple, quick and minimalistic RTS. The point of the game is to win, and you do so by owning most of the map. you have your main unit, it is invincible, can block enemy units, and capture structures and most importantly, capture the map where ever it moves. this is your most important unit. you get other units as you play which offer various strategic options and help you put pressure. most games will take about 5 minutes. there are 5 different kind of units, keeping it simple. and a dozen of maps. this game is free, but old, and no longer has a multiplayer community. but it has good bots, and a short campaign. worth a shot.

Early Access Review
Note : game is in Early Access, as it stands story mode isn't finished yet, but even as is i recommend it!

This game is a nice blend between the exploration and puzzling of a metroidvania and the character growth of a monster taming with a great battle system with great character customization depth.

What sets this game apart from other monster taming games is just how many choices on what you want your team to be. most of your battles will be 3v3, allowing you to create your perfect team from 50 different monsters, between physical damage assassins, to magic elementals, and supportive monsters holding and boosting your team together. each monster has between 2 and 5 skill trees, unique to themselves, where each level gives them a point to invest, you can get a new ability, upgrade another, acquire an aura, passives, stat increases. your monsters can hold a weapon, and 3 equipements, with their various stat changes, they can cosumme up to 3 food items at a time, which permenantly increase their stats. eventually there is the ability to give them one of two upgrades, giving them a unique boost of your choice .

each monster is designed to fit a certain role, either a damage dealer, or a supporting unit, giving buffs, shields, and heals. but with the talent trees, equipement and food, you can mold them into a more specific role to your choice, the high physical critting catzerker has many skills to improve damage, crit chances and damage, but also has a great buff skill, a healing skill, a passive that heals your teammates when dealing damage. allowing him to support the team as well if needed. additionally the magmapillar, with his great shielding abilities and skills, can be tunned more thowards a fire damaging monster too.

as it stands, you can only play the storyline, which isn't finished yet, due to it being in early access, however despite this, has a lot of replayability, from maxing out your team, and perfecting it's skills, to attempting to get the best rating on boss matches, or seeing how far you can go in infinite mode.

This is a side 2d real time strategy game where you build towers, and use them to attack your enemy's own towers and win by destroying his castle while protecting your own with defensive towers such as barriers. You get to build buildings using money that you collect from mines that you harvest, selecting which tower you want from a loadout you customize at the beginning of each match, allowing you to adapt to the flow of the game on the spot. you get to build these structures anywhere on top of terrain. if the terrain is destroyed by projectiles, your tower will drop to it's likely death, this gives you a freedom of placement, with some risky choices. another requirement to place a structure is that it must be within your construction zone, which can be expanded through placing more buildings, or deploying ballons. As you deploy your artillery, you will need to go to each structure, aim, and apply. which will provide an effect ranging through shooting missiles, a laser, a protective barrier, repair, and more. each action comes with it's cooldown. this creates a fast paced game where you must be quick in order to make the best with all your tools. additionally, there are several pilots that provide buffs and powers to your match, from lower cooldowns to freezing enemy structures. matches usually last from 5 to 10 minutes.

The game comes with a campaign, with a normal and hard mode, local and online multiplayer, however unfortunately does not have anyone playing anymore, but you can still connect with friends. the campaign comes with several missions, with a 3 star rating based on requirements being met.

I love this game, I started playing it when the multiplayer was dying out, but i still got a lot of enjoying from mastering the campaign, and playing against the AI, trying out all possible loadouts and character combitions. as you play matches you earn a currency allowing you to unlock more towers and characters, it felt a little grindy, but ultimately didn't take that long.

Tho the elements of the game themselves aren't unique, the combition of the whole makes for a very unique one of a kind game. if you enjoy playing against bots, or know someone who'd enjoy trying this game, i'd highly recommend this. if you're main interest comes from playing online multiplayer, i would recommend against, as there aren't people playing.
