As I've finished the game with 100% completion and grinded all items, I'd say it's much like Dark Souls 2 actually, but slightly worse.

Developers put their hearts into this project. The outcome is the best thing ever.

Isn't the ability to play original Half Life campaigns with friends great? And for free! This mod is old as hell, and it's still supported and being updated. The flexebility of things to do here is awesome, tons of maps and adventures, and possibility to download even more from internet. There will be no boredom and always fun while playing with Your mates. I'm literally praising this mod.

Very positive game, with artistic story, matching good soundtrack and aesthetic visuals that will keep You for a while. Kinda linear, but it's doing such great job for Your eyes, You won't even mind. Just mind the price, I'd recomend getting it with discount. It took me 5h overall, both for blind play and with getting all achievements afterwards

Mix of game genres gone right. Could've been better in some aspects, like fighting (no cover system, no big deal about strategy whatsoever) and less wooden animations. Other than that, it is a solid position with a good writing. You actually have to do hard choices here, and focus on people every day - keeping them in check, so bad things won't happen. There are consequences for attacking neutral survivors, fighting with other factions like millitary, or generally doing things people won't like. And You'll gonna need all the people You can recruit. The strength here is in numbers, but the drawback is, You can't satisfy anyone. The game itself is not that great, and it has tendencies to randomly crash or lags when there are large numbers of zombies coming, but it has charm. I'd say give it a chance.

It could just be described as turn based strategy set in wild west. But it features so much more than good tactical combat (could be beginner friendly if You just want epic story). There are 9 total (including the DLC one) stories, and each one is better than previous. Choices vary, and where one is taken, there is no going back, except when starting new campaign. The balance between encounters and storytelling on map is perfect, so as setting and characters stylisation. Narrator's speech gave me chills, and I enjoyed every bit of features this game offered. Every character (max 4 on team) could get 5 cards, on which skill system is based, with full freedom of deployment, 2 guns from huuge variety of them, and of course support items. It would be foolish not to mention about high quality of soundtrack, composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz, who was also working on Witcher 3 tracks. I must admit, there were no cons at all, except for AI being stupid most of the times, or some missions where You are seriously outnumbered. Give it a shoot though, and play this gem when You'll get opportunity. I mean it.

Don't ♥♥♥♥ with the mailman: the game

It's broken as ♥♥♥♥, I've tried for 3 hours to make it run past launcher, without any effect.
Game doesn't see .ini files, it doesn't recognize GPU or graphical settings (GeForce Experience panel is also blank), and it always says that there are few plugins missing WHILE THEY ARE SITTING RIGHT IN THE CORRECT FOLDER. Replacing files sent by devs didn't help, same with deleting user settings saved in appdata. Also, verifying game integrity doesn't do ♥♥♥♥.
Waste of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time.
