Edit: While the game is not well-maintained by today's standards, the number of cheating bots you will encounter in casual is few and far between. Valve needs to continue to maintain this, and only time will tell how effective their attitude or mitigation strategies against the bots are. I will remain cautiously optimistic. Additionally, I hope they upkeep the game in other areas, such as removing idle bots which ruin the game's economy, or make changes to the matchmaking system.
