extremely addicting, quick to pick up, and hard to put down

A classic game where the same people have been playing for 20 years. Will probably end up in a "forgotten internet history" video at some point.

Pretty fun little game. Quick to hop into, hard to master. The various modes to choose from are neat - my favorite are the tetriminos.

We had a battle over a giant bridge with like 100 people on either side of it, crawling up and placing sandbags along the way. It was epic!

This is a refreshing game that's a lot more fun than I expected. For $15 you can buy, download, and be in a game within 5 minutes. You'd be lucky to even begin downloading a Warzone update in that time frame.

EDITED ANSWER:
Workshop is finally here, so the game should be about at where it should've been at release. With any luck, we'll have some decent content coming from there soon. Some quality of life improvements for the rest of the game since, but workshop was most obviously missing. Legions are still disappointing, and I can only hope that the editor has at least some kind of way to use them (and that they weren't just a one-time gimmick in the campaign). This game is a solid buy if you can get it on sale now, at least.

OLD REVIEW:
I can't recommend this game at this time - the FPS is oddly poor, on all settings low-ultra (with a 1080 Ti and X299 processor), and generally the game lacks that "polished" feel you may have come to recognize from their other games. Bugs from earlier Sam titles are still present in 4, and while the legion mechanic is cool, the game really just needed a little more time in the oven. I'll change this review if/when they add more fixes for the myriad bugs, performance issues, or even survival mode - legions that are used only a couple times, with no survival mode for more? Come on.
