There's just too much going on in this game. While it's cute and can almost scratch the itch I needed scratched, I feel like it misses the mark.
The game starts out promising but then it just.....introduces way too much. Between crafting, creature collecting, resource management, relationship building, exploring. There's just....way too much to do in too little of a day. The game puts too much emphasis on "if you dont take care of your crops theyll die" and yeah you can craft a sprinkler but you need resources for that which are.......kinda lacking. The creature collecting is also very limiting as you'll encounter a ton of creatures but you can only have 3 at a time, but then you can build a stable......but wait! When you build the stable that's just not enough you need more resources to have each creature their own separate stall..... it just feels like a never ending resource collecting when....you don't necessarily have the time to do so. There's 50 other things catching your attention and at the end you play for a few hours and don't feel like anything was accomplished.
