I was going into avorion with the belief that the game was about building your own space empire with logistics, mining, traderoutes, automatization.

I guess you *can* sorta do that, but the game offers you very little tools to manage it, I can't believe there's no way to make a traderoute that will just loop without your input

If you're into the building aspects of things you might enjoy it as some sort of interactive lego, but if you're like me and you're hoping for something that scratched the factorio/ dysonsphere / satisfactory / Anno itch this just isn't the game for that and that's a shame because so many of the pieces are there that could make it happen

Uh, a ressource management game using cards? That seems kinda weird. It's not very expensive so let me give it a try-- annnnnnnd 8 hours are gone.

Super fun idea, I like how part of the game is how you decide to organize the positioning of your cards to make your life easier. The game also has a few surprises that make it even more enjoyable.

This is a super good option for a more casual management experience.

Really engaging and beautifully written! I downloaded the demo and I was sold pretty much immediately. It's funny, creepy, thought provoking all at once.

I really wish the game was longer, mainly because I would have liked to spend more hours on deciphering the situation. That said after 4H of play I havent even come close to experiencing all the different paths so if you insist on doing all of that you probably have quite a few hours of gameplay in there.

Very similar concept to factorio, but this execution is just so much more satisfying and pleasing for me.I love the scale of building interstellar factories and making dyson spheres. The progression is constant, you always have something new to do.Don't get fooled by the early access tag, I never had a single glitch and this game already contains hundreds of hours worth of content.

If you're going to sell your game on PC full price, then dont have the PC port be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Issues
-----------
-Slightest mouse movement will re-focus your target, no way to change the keybinding
-Inverted mouseclick attacks for mounted fights, left click attacks to the right, right click attacks to the left, no keybinding
-Mounted camera is absolutely attrocious and again, you better hope you fight in a spot with no other enemies because your target will constantly shift, it's practically unplayable
-I can SWEAR that sometime input doesn't register, I press dodge, but nothing happens and I get hit

I'm very disapointed because I had been wanting to get into the souls like for a while, but considering the price tag and the experience, this is a huge disappointment.

The game's presentation is really impressive and I think the foundation here is really solid, I'll be looking forward to checking the game out as it gets new releases!

I love the visuals, I like that I don't have to worry about streets, I like how many different buildings and research there are to unlock. I *love* the potential that eventually we'll be able to expand into space, I'm curious what that'll be like.

My main issue so far is that it doesn't quite scratch the Black And White itch I had when I bought the game. The game feels much more like a city management game than a god game. I wish I had more direct control over my followers and that my relationship with them felt a bit more intimate. Anytime there's a wolf attack or a raid, I never know where it is so I just hit the alarm. It would be nice to be able to smite the danger myself and things like that.

This game is really well done and it'll take hours for you to try to solve it. My only issue is that the game is very bad at teaching you what to do and often tricks you into doing the wrong thing, I wish they had spent a bit more time making a story mode or something to gradually introduce you to all the various systems and what you can do to handle them.

Expect dedicating a lot of time to reading and watching videos if you want to actually be able to make a self sustainable colony.

6.5/10

The game is very beautiful while a bit limited in both its sounds and visuals. The main reason I cant rank it higher is because the actual gameplay is kinda tedious and shallow for a business venture kind of game. I would have been happier if the game was around 10$.

Pros
---------
-Time waster, you do feel a certain satisfaction in exploring the world and gradually building and generating products
-Beautiful visuals, and I kinda love the ideas, there seem to be enough stuff to do to last a few hours
-Storymode and sandbox mode

Cons
------
-Lack of depth, I could never understand why on earth I would want to switch ship when all the bigger ones are slower so that was a bit of a bummer. There isnt really any strategy per say, you just sell ressources where they are worth the most and you repeat that until you win.

I hope the game gets a few more updates to improve its gameplay. I feel like there's 60% of a great game in there, it just needs a few more tweaks.

Alright so I played it a few hours and I think the game really has a lot of potential! But here's some helpful tips for everyone wanting to play it and not hit a wall like I did.

1- Right click an enemy / Inspect, lets you know what the enemy's abilities are and his hp %, use that all the time until you memorize it

2- If you see a bear or a moose, run, also don't underestimate aggressive animals

3- Do NOT go to the elder right away after finishing the tutorial, explore the map to the various "?" to get some gear and level up some

4- Save by sleeping fairly often, after a quest, after changing equipment, after getting a sweet loot, etc.

The game is really well put together and once you get over the steep difficulty curve at first, it becomes really satisfying once you manage to manage your way through perilous situations.

Been on the fence for years to buy farming simulator. I love management games and farming games, and farming simulator always had so many purchases even though the videos made it look so dull and boring so I figured there must be something there.

Anyway, I took the plunge, game is terrible unless you're an avid enthusiast of various farm equipment brands. The visuals are terrible and the world just feels so artificial. Stardew valley's world feels more real even though it only uses pixels. If you're like me and was curious about this game because you played other management games, don't, this isnt a good one.
