I've tried. I've tried so hard to like this game. but it's bad. so unbelievably bad that it's just not worth the time and energy it takes to even try to get into the game. The primary loop is just that: a loop. the vast majority of your time playing the game is either A: running in literal circles over and over again until you drop a wooden pallet on the killers head and B: holding the left mouse button and occasionally hitting space bar to hit a skill check. on the killer side it's still running in circles but this time you're chasing someone instead of being chased or you're occasionally holding the space bar for 3 seconds to kick a generator.

it's mind numbing, several of the killers have absolutely abysmal designs that ruin the match just by existing, the game seems more interested in selling you DLC than anything and all of that would be bad enough but the game is also pay to win.

there are several killers and survivors that you just straight up can't unlock without spending real world money on them, and some of the perks they come with are pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ strong. meaning that you can actually be putting yourself at an active disadvantage by refusing to fork over more money. Buying the character doesn't even give you the thing though. you still have to level up the character to get the perks on your other characters. meaning that you have to pay them money to grind out a bunch of games just for the opportunity to use the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing that you just paid for. it's so unbelievably unpleasant as a system and the only reason I've played it as much as I have is that I have friends who ask me to play it.

I've spent almost 400 hours hoping that the fun part is just around the corner but it never comes. it's a mediocre game at best, full of some of the worst design decisions I can imagine for a game. The community is also one of the worst I've ever seen in all of gaming (and I used to play league of legends). I've been called slurs in this game more times in this game than I have in any game I've played in the last decade.

absolutely miserable gameplay, miserable community, a bad time overall.

just wasn't a fan. like I get that it's a wasteland and all but the environments are just really boring imo. combat was whatever. lost interest between the first and second town

frustrating controls, inability to control an individual unit keeps leading to issues, the motion sensor is useful like 80% of the time but then that other 20% it's useless because enemies will literally spawn in mid air when you walk into a certain point in the room(no they aren't coming from the vent, they just suddenly appear in mid air and happen to be walking directly at me). I really like the concept, I mean, I love the aliens world and I enjoy the idea of a tactical aliens game but this games execution deserves execution.

not for me anymore. too many changes that continuously reduce the fun I'm having with each event it seems and I'm just kinda done. only time the game seems fun or not stale is during events and even once the event settles in it immediately goes back to being stale. it's the same guns every single match, horrendous matchmaking, adding silencers to everything. just not fun anymore. I loved this game, it was my favorite game for a few years, and then around the time of the engine update it really started to go downhill and I don't think it's gonna ever go back to how it was before.

40 minutes in and the fun part never happened. quite possibly the worst extraction game I've ever played

just an absolute vacuum of fun. total chaos, zero charm. just completely uninteresting. it's the video game equivalent of shaking a keyring in front of an infant. it's like nuketown free for all but with some minor objectives thrown in the mix.

really wanted to enjoy the game but the constant backtracking with no map left me lost and frustrated for extended periods of time. I really enjoyed the movement, the music, and the overall vibe and art style of the game but running in circles for sometimes up to 30 minutes at a time before I either happen to stumble on the 1 thing I'm looking for or caving and watching a walkthrough just to find that I missed a 2 foot tall slot in the corner that I can slide through to give me a new ability was more frustrating than enjoyable. probably not gonna end up finishing the game.

very much recommend, it's a fun game with an interesting premise, some of the monsters can be frustrating to deal with sometimes but overall it's definitely worth picking up to play with a few friends.

a fun and simple game about being a cat in a world full of robots. short, sweet, and incredibly fun. plus there's a meow button.
