Simple and enjoyable. Great soundtrack, simple yet engaging gameplay, but plenty of strategy also with it's use of items and RNG for each round.

Was already good before multiplayer was made available, but now you can enjoy it with others also.
Well worth the price.

A full tongue-in-cheek experience that left me smiling the whole way through.

Excellent writing, simple but fun combat mechanics, and lots of hidden enjoyment if you dig for it.

Tells it's story with a tipped brim and a cheeky smile, keeping you hooked the whole way through. Almost every situation has multiple ways of being handled, leading to lots of funny moments, and rewards exploration in kind.

Well worth the time and money spent.

A fantastic homage to the inventory management system of Resident Evil mixed with a relaxing soundtrack of similar proportions.

The puzzles are engaging and fun, and a few stages offer quite unique solutions that leave some options.
The achievements are simple enough to earn, but completion requires a bit of skill.

Definitely a title worth it's price and more.

Watching this game progress over the eight long years that it has been in production has been a trip.

From the pre-alpha testing, to watching assets being made, to the beta testing of both story and arena modes, all the way up to now, seeing the game fully fleshed out, released and still having active support.
Truly, a game that I am proud to have been a part of the production for.

Project Nexus 2, or rather just Project Nexus here, a sequel to the original flash game that has spawned into it's entire own thing.
Those who remember the flash game will catch a fair chunk of references here, but there's a lot.

This game is a fun, engaging, and addictive title with a solid story mode, a enjoyable Arena mode, and a Playground to just test out whatever as whomever.

-Fantastic soundtrack
-Good balance on challenge, but some hits here and there.
-Boss fights are fun
-References galore to the series and the original flash game.
-Excellent replayability

Arena Mode
-Sports a solid gun customization system and progressive armor and weapon unlock system as you progress.
-Multiple origins with their own strength, weaknesses, and fun perks.
-Fully upgradeable base, each with their own perks.

And the game has fairly active devs still, along with people still helping to make the game even better.

Absolutely worth your time to check it out.

A solid take on the social deduction style of game, this is one of those games that you pull out for game night with friends and just go at it for several hours.

Win as a crewmate, win as the imposter. Loads of ways to play, and active devs who are still working on the game. Grab a couple people and load up a few matches, you'll have loads of fun accusing each other of being the imposter.

Red kinda sus.

Early Access Review
This is one of those games that despite it being in early acccess, it feels like almost a complete game. The artstyle combined with the tight controls make this game a must play if you enjoy both platformers and rogue-likes. This gem of a game combines the two in a "die, but make permanent progress" type of game, with each upgrade you earn permanently being applied as you progress. It plays with it's story thus far similarly to Dark Souls, making you have to piece together some of it, while at times straight up telling you other bits of it. Regardless, it's a title that I keep coming back to every now and then to enjoy, regardless of how frustrating it can be at times.

If you enjoy platformers and rogue-likes, then this is a game for you.

What can be said about this game that hasn't ben said already?

Hotline Miami 2, the sequel to the brutal classic that many enjoyed and loved, takes everything that made the original good and improves upon it.

Centered around a large cast of different perspectives, you will venture through missions that occur before, during, and after the events of the first game. Playing the original Hotline Miami first is recommended to understand the story, even if piecing it all together is a bit of a task in itself.

The game is brutally hard in it's own right. You have to think out your strategy, and yet also get your score high as well. It's a bloody fun time, and the variety makes for a lot of replayability to it.

There's an unlockable Hard Mode, and also a Level Editor to gain access to, so you can make your own levels as well.

Would I recommend Hotline Miami 2? If you enjoyed the first game, then it's a must-buy. Takes a lot of the original formula and improves on it.

Funny, quick to jump into, and enjoyable the entire time. Battleblock Theater is one of those games that simply does everything right in making a game that's enjoyable. The story plays out at a slow pace, but it's still good. The gameplay is easy to learn, but becomes far more challenging later on as you work to 100% every level. Gems you collect are used to unlock more prisoners to play as, while balls of yarn, while harder to acquire, allow you to unlock new weapons you can use in the theater. You can even make your own characters to play as in-game, if you figure out how to do it. I've not been disappointed by any game The Behemoth has made, and I've followed the company since Alien Hominid. A great game by a great developer. Definitely on my list of games that I'd recommend.

One of the most original and creative games out there that I have played. Magicka is one of those games that came out of nowhere for me, but had me hooked once I started playing it. The mix and match spellweaving system is brilliantly implemented, and the gameplay is fluid and enjoyable. The dialogue is brilliant in the language it is given in, and the story is great for a game like this. The music is absolutely beautiful, and there are loads of pop culture references, and the humor is just right enough to keep you smiling the whole way through. There are also various robes, weapons, staves, and certain spell combinations called Magicks that increase the enjoyability and replayability of the game as you look for new and interesting ways to take out enemies. The game progresses in difficulty enough so that it is challenging, but still quite enjoyable, and while the controls can seem awkward at first, once you get used to them, it becomes one of the best mage games out there. This is a must-own game for anyone who enjoys magic, wizards, or anything fantasy-like in this setting. I would highly recommend this to anyone who owns a Steam account.
