Childhood game so my opinion is not really relevant but it's one of my fav of the series, an awesome transition after Daggerfall with lots of content. Lot of mod to modernize the game, even ultrawide support.

Good idle game, even if idle is not the right term, it has enough different feature to keep a daily/weekly routine of task to do. Playing it since a few years now and the game had some major improvement. It's a game that is free and doesn't require you to put any dime in it if you don't want to. The last update did bring a few achievement of getting stuff from the shop to get it, but i believe the passive earning of premium currency is enough if you wait the time needed to acquire them.
Myself i just bought the VIP back in the early game to support the dev but a few years in without any more buy.

If you like idle game with side stuff to do, this is the one for you, the continuously updates make it so you still have something to yearn for even you were maxed before the update.

Tried from the website and with the steam account, i have an old SE account which i use for Hitman and cie so i made the huge mistake of using it on steam, and now it says i have another service account and had to see in the mog service thing, but in the mog service it says i have no service account and never had. Contacted the customer service, they asked me to create a new account, which is impossible for steam now (they said to me i could delete some file in my document folder to change the account but.. no)
Huge waste of time, both for me and the customer service. Worst free trial PR i have ever seen in all mmo service.
I litteraly lost the will to test the game.

NB : i probably played the beta in 2013 even if i have absolute no memory of it. Could be why nothing work

One of the best RPG of the last decade.

I recommend it but it has a lot of flaws.
Clunky cinematics, NPC teleporting themselves out of scenery. After 50 hours playtime the game started lagging, the time was slowed and every animation was delayed and 5/6/7 seconds longer than usual. Very put me out of it when it happen unfortunately. (restarting the game doesn't really work, skipping day or sometime going in and out of an interior can work)

The storyline is.. surprising for this type of game but cool overall. The 2/3rd of the game was pretty smooth with quest almost everyday guiding you and providing you goals to go forward.
When you've done almost all side content, the game consist of sleeping to trigger main events. (after 70h+ for me.) So i'm starting to get tired of it even tho' i have still a few things to do.

The game can be really immersive if you're into this kind of game. Socializing and housing is nice.
Still wasn't able to romance the character of my choice after 120h playtime. I don't know why but the person was constantly refusing the necklace even tho the NPC is indicated as a possible bachelor. Since the character is used in main story, maybe it'll change in a few in-game days.
I played a few of Portia but here i felt more guided (in a good way). Main mission in portia was like : firstly build a bus stop, then go upgrade all your workshop and tools then go build the bridge.
Here it's more build this, then this but it need a new ressource that you can find here, and that allows you to start upgrading gears and workshop without it to be instantly needed to continue. Making you feel like you're the one choosing to upgrade stuff to go faster, provide new things etc.

I backed the game and played a few during alphas and betas so i'm a little disappointed to feel like the game is unpolished at this state.

I don't know if i'll come back to this game but still, it kept me busy for 125hours so it made its part of entertaining me.

GOTL

The game goes through a lot and is a real experience. In my opinion, it goes perfectly through how people can feel in depression, how they seek for help and how they can fail/nor succeed (in this case the "nor" is important) depend of solitude or friends. The story is really well written, it is both shoking and interesting, picturing a whole panel of emotion between confort, fear and dark ideas.

Without spoiling this game is amazing in his own prospect and i recommend it without any doubt.
+ all soundtrack made by Warmer are AMAZING.

Trigger warning : this game contains really realistic and deep thoughts and needs to be read and seen as such. It shows how deep and hard things can be, but shows it so well that it can be a bit overwhelming.

Ok there are some buggy stuff like the subtitles in every starting episode. I understand it can be a total immersive break for people who don't understand english. But this is just the best game ever. I played it like it was the first time, I didn't felt like anything was out of date or anything.

Maybe i didn't cared enough but i retrieved the feels i felt playing the original one. This is the best LiS, the remaster kinda made the texture up to date but the game is still price-less.

I just hope that every LiS would have that much impact. Unfortunatly BtS was just a joke, 2 was okay-ish, and didn't played true colors yet but I don't feel like any game would be as good as this one.

Maybe we're supposed to be that pragmatic and say that the subtitle bug is the worse, but I'm sure it's gonna be taken care of in a next patch. After that, it will just be an opportunity for anyone to play that gem (-again).

I recommend, because this is Mass Effect, and i love the franchise.
It's pretty much a same to same experience except i payed another full price to have them.

Maybe because i decided to played the insane difficulty but all the glitch and bug i had during the experience, i don't recover them from my last playtrough in the original serie.
Insanly dumb AI, ennemies shooting through crates or wall (hard when that's people who OS you like snipers) , teleporting and spawning in the air mobs, etc etc.

And sad they dyied Yeomate Kelly's hair.

Jeu avec une superbe bonne idée et une rejouabilité quasi infinie tellement il y a de détail auquel il faut faire attention.
Je le recommande surtout pour le prix.
