One of the best CRPG's that I've played in years. The story is compelling without being overwrought, and what glimpses we see of the NPC companions make them compelling without being in your face. The combat system at regular difficulty isn't super-hard but will challenge you to build your character intelligently, while not punishing you for not min-maxing. Captures the spirit of CRPG's of old with plenty of quality of life improvements absent since those days. Really hope that this game gets a sequel.

If agonising over inventory in RPGs is your thing, this game is heaven. Unforgiving, brutal, but deeply rewarding. A grade above the slew of survival game sludge on the market at the moment, this game is a throwback to the golden era of 1990's PC classics, rewarding patience and forethought.

A solid game that combines the best of what made old-school Doom-era shooters great with a modern upgrade system, fun dialogue and a surprisingly good story. Minor backtracking issues and long loadscreens aside, a thoroughly enjoyable experience well worth your time.
