THIS game!!! No No NO!!! But... ok ok... just one more play.

Translation:

> Strong replayability, when you think you can handle it this time, and something completely new happens, and it's fun fun fun, either winning or losing.

> Losing actually makes you "stronger" mechanics, aborting a game gives you nothing, winning a scenario is pure brain ecstasy.

> Fast gameplay when you finally "get it". Also known as being in the "flow".

> Lots of space and time to come up with new ideas/tactics to survive extinction.

> Developer Michele is THE DEVIL.

Wow, the Royal Game of Ur as a digital game!...
It's a great game to play in your local medieval pub, with friends, lots of beer and mead, the music group playing old instruments, breaks into playing Game of Thrones main theme... true story, caught us all off guard... Great times, but I digress.

Unfortunately, the rules used here in this digital version are horrible. For example: in this version it's possible to have the pawns from both players crossing the middle bridge in different directions...!? WTF dev?!

This is the oldest board game in the world, played 4'500 years ago in the middle east, in public, in taverns, drinking lots of alcohol, so...

How the hell would drunkards (like us) be able to track which pawns were traveling left-to-right or right-to-left in the bridge section, where can be several pawns from both players fighting there??? How do you track moving directions!? That is a ridiculous idea! Get serious, the bridge is a one way path!

To those interested in the most accurate rules to date, check the YouTube video "Tom Scott vs Irving Finkel: The Royal Game of Ur." -- Cheers! ^^

I'm disappointed. The gameplay loop is way too boring for me, from easy to hard.
It's one of those games that looks WAY better on YouTube, where the boring parts are cut out, and/or the youtuber commentary entertains you. Also this is the type of game that really needs a demo version on day one.

Try it, maybe it's your cup of tea.
That's why I still recommend you to try, then keep it or refund it.

Very fun game, love when you can break a game into insanity.

Meh. The skill tree is boring, unsatisfying, lazy. Either was on purpose, or Dev was just bored and ended rushing the heart of an incremental game.

Meh.
Other clickers grabbed me way faster than this.
Will try again some day.

Good fishing game, with quite some strategy and skill needed.
But, it didn't took care of my fishing itch.
Intergalactic Fishing is still at the top.

Bullet hell with an early ramp of difficulty, that can scare some players.
At this time, needs more sfx for each weapon/skills, more music, and better explanation of some skills.
Why not a catalog of the monsters you'll be discovering, and details about their attacks?

It's a good game, fantastic with controller. ❤️

🗿 This demo shows some UI / UX issues, like incremental settings spread into many different windows that need to be open by the user, set a point, then closed, then open another, repeat.
🗿 Area colliders on interactable NPC / portals / etc on the main screen / hub should be bigger.
🗿 Some skills show their cooldown timer icon on the top left corner of the screen, while others show it only on their toolbar icon. Should be uniform, all on top left corner, which feels the best.
🗿 If these are already solved on the current version, then they should be reflected in a demo of course.

These things, make the flow of a game feel off.
I spent time writing this, because I want the game to succeed.
Added to Wishlist, will try again later.
