All the other civs declare war out of the blue on turn 5 of the last age of the game

Very fun game! Quick way to kill a half hour.

EDIT: A lot of the positive reviews appear to be from people that got the game for free.

The asking price is too much. $40 for less than 20 hours of gameplay is not a good purchase. As for the gameplay, here are the issues I have.

1. It's unclear what you're supposed to do a lot of the time.
2. You can't skip the cut scenes that play at the start and end of levels. So if you fail to three star a level, enjoy wasting 30 seconds rewatching the intro cutscene.
3. Some levels are almost impossible to three star without a second player.
4. The requirement to get a perfect score to get 4 medals on the non puzzle levels is stupid.
5. Only 2 difficulties.
6. On the school level, not only do you have to replay the intro cut scene, you have to replay the two tutorial parts before getting to the actual level.

I will admit that the soundtrack is good though. Everything else is infuriating.

Not worth $50. Here is why.

1. Has (4?) branching paths but unlike zero escape or somnium files, which it claims to take inspiration from, you can't see how you get to each path and can't click on a tree to go back to pivitol moments.

2. Unlike danganronpa, you don't get to put together the final "comic" of how the murder occured. The game also handholds you through investigations and "trials"

3. Sasha is the epitome of the gen z version of obnoxious "boomer humor"

4. Only 30 save slots which isn't enough when you don't know how to get each ending.

5. The neon runner game's jumping controls suck.

6. Bugs with dialogue and backgrounds that appear to be from previous segments appearing randomly in later segments.

Overall, I wouldn't pay more than $20 for this game, aka less than half the asking price.

EDIT: I have gotten two of the endings since writing this review. First the suspicion one, then the lust one. After the latter ending, I change my mind about paying $20 for this game. Instead, I'd pay another $50 to forget I ever heard about it.

YandereDev and EA make better game related decisions than the makers of this game.

Wonderful game! Each faction is fun to play as and they are all truly unique! My personal favorite is Pyre. The game also has a great speed runnung community!

Some of the puzzles in this are fun and clever. But a lot of the stuff in this game is a great example of poor game design.

First off, the movement is infuriating. The character is slower than a grandma with arthritis and a cane. You'll be in the same room, but the camera angle will change all of a sudden and if you happen to click right when that happens (and it happens with no warning) you'll end up misclicking. A lot of the time it's merely annoying but during chase scenes, it can easily get you killed.

Second, the amount of waiting you have to do is ridiculous. Especially if you're replaying scenes in order to get a different ending. The worst offender is when you're in Martha's room and have to wait forever for her to arrive. You have to go through this scene MULTIPLE TIMES in order to get all the endings. I can't help but wonder if this is meant to push the player to that 2 hour limit where they can't refund this piece of crap game.

Third, some of the puzzles are straight up impossible without looking up a guide. These include changing your clock, using certain faces during certain parts of the face tutorial, deleting your save and closing the game, and a few others.

Fourth, the game is super buggy. The first time I went though the veil, I wasn't sure where to go. I ended up walking off the map and thought it was part of the game/an ending so I waited for 5 minutes before I realized the dev didn't set up boundaries or what to do if you fall off the map correctly. (A laughably easy thing to do) In addition, the game will either crash or go all black/all white when it isn't supposed to. (Such as when Will wakes up to start the game)

Fifth, the price to hours of content ratio is disgusting. You want me to pay $12 for a crap game that lasts only 6 hours? That's $2 per hour. Why would I buy this game when I could buy other games for the same price that will last me close to 100 hours? (Only costing me pennies per hour)

Honestly, until the dev fixes these issues and lowers the price by a lot (like, down to $1-2) I can't recommend that anyone buys this game.

First off, the game is super buggy. The game didn't end despite MULTIPLE end conditions being met (300 turns, mars mission, all stars in contempory era, and resaerch tree being finished) Second, the tutorials are useless. Third, even on the lowest difficulty, one CPU will absorb 2 others and snowball to victory with me unable to do anything about it.

This game isn't worth $5, let alone $50.

Wonderful game! I like how there are multiple different ways to go about accomplishing the missions!
