After eight years of development, the game has finally been released, showcasing the expected high-quality work from the Persona creators. So far, it has potential to be a Game of the Year contender from Studio Zero/ATLUS.

Currently at Chapter 4 of the story, here is what I think so far:

Story - The story is decent so far and it has the touch of classic Slasher films; seeing as this game is made by the Until Dawn developers (PC port when?), I will continue on with the story and see how it plays out. It has a "Movie Mode" which is quite interesting and I might try that soon.

Visuals - The graphical fidelity on this is very good which is quite expected from this type of games and it just keeps on getting better, however, the hardware to run the game at its best requires is quite up there on the most expensive ones. Animations are weird at times but the cinematography of the different game scenes are good.

Technical Issues - Cutscene transitions tend to slow down the game that it introduces audio desync with stutters and hitches here and there but they smoothen out eventually. The loading times are kind of abysmal as well, could be my hardware but this is worth noting. There are also some weird issue with shadow and I don't know if it's an artistic choice or graphical glitches but the shadows in the game make or break the atmosphere in the game as the shadows become square pixels when it is set at Normal settings but it fixes itself when on High.

Pricing and Third Party DRM/Launcher - There is no regional pricing for this game, same with majority of other games these days unfortunately, but I guess this is because of the publisher, 2K Games. On top of the terrible pricing, they included the Denuvo DRM and I really wish publishers and developers would cease from using it because it only hinders the customers and the money spent on said DRM should've been used into making their games more polished and on acceptable quality. There is also a minor inconvenience of 2K including an unnecessary launcher when it is already here on Steam.

Overall, Supermassive Games made a good game here but I'm inclined to say the same for their chosen publisher. Needs some bug fixing and optimization for performance and this will be a good time. For the others, perhaps waiting for a sale is a good route because of the bad regional pricing.

Edit: steam event task

Right now, this is the worst version of this game. Add account linking/cross-save, cross-play, easier payment system and it will be perfect. Aside from that, it is a great game with amazing music, story, and combat.

A fresh entry to the long-running Yakuza franchise where you embark as a new protagonist with turn-based combat which was quite different to the traditional beat em' up style of the series. This entry is honestly one of my top favorite Yakuza title being only second to Yakuza 0.

The turn-based combat may concern some old fans but I can assure that they actually made it quite enjoyable. I never actually wrote reviews this serious but this series has a special place in my heart that I had to write this review. Play this if you've never played a Yakuza game and for long time fans, there are some great surprises and references in this game if you've played all of the games. Looking forward to what RGG Studios would come up next in this approach as this will continue as a JRPG series now while the combat department would be left to the Judgment series (please make a PC port of these happen). 9.5/10 most advanced bread physics I've seen in a game.

It's so f*cking good wtf. It's very optimized as well, getting 100+ fps on high settings.

There's an option to toggle on/off the comic filter 👍
Needs more maps, characters and game modes.
Further polish.
Decent beta so far 👍
