Anything I say about this will make your experience worse. Play it. It is *very* good; there's a depth to the ... for the lack of a better term? solutions grid that shifts depending on the order in which you do things, which rules.

Short, straightforward, pretty neat. The earlygame is well worth checking out solely for the window-maximization-on-the-beat feel of the main 'active' mechanic!

Excellent little game. Incredibly atmospheric, appropriately creepy throughout without being overbearing or overwritten. Fantastic micro-horror/etc in the aberration design, both written and visual.

you're going to see this in 2023 after playing shadows of doubt and go "what, did I fall into a secret dimension where games became Even More for card perverts?" Unfortunately no, but:

Concrete Jungle is exactly what it looks like in a better way than you could ever think possible; and if that makes any sense at all that, should be enough to make this the last thing you read before buying it.

An absolutely incredible ARPG roguelite with great mechanics, a stunningly gorgeous art style and (nb: I'm a giant sap) a really pleasantly emotional and affecting story about family

An absolutely brilliant game that has twists and systems you *have* to experience. It is remarkable the way this game has grown and changed - at launch, it was a procgen corridor shooter with shades of ME3 coop class card stuff. Now it's (tony hawk x rock band) lite x star trek bridge commander x a better destiny x a better housing / customization thing than realistically exists x a fantastic F2p model.

You'll notice that I've refrained from talking about what you have to experience; let me tell you, it just goes... places. I could ROT13 a spoiler of the entire questline and you could look at the game and pull a Griffin McElroy YO YO YO WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ and you would not even break the surface of what is incredibly ridiculous about this game.

Kind Words is an incredible thing. You'll get out of it what you put in; or, perhaps more appropriately, what you look for. It's a reminder that even on the hell that is the internet, there are still people trying to make the world a better place.

this game is real dumb in a way that only the best games can be.
