Worse than the original from the 90's.
- Frame rate capped at 30 fps, game feels very sluggish
- Game rules have errors
- Cards don't follow the mouse exactly, so you have to drop the cards where the cursor is and not where the card is.
- Overlapping end of level popups
- Poorly explained game modes with questionable grammar
- Game claims there are no moves left even with empty spare slots available
- Tour mode hangs on an empty green screen after the first game. Can't get all the achievements because you can't even complete a tour.

Fairly short, but really satisfying. The immersion is impressive, at times I forgot I was playing a game.

Due to the recent review bombings I feel forced to finally write a short review.

So, Borderlands 3 is going to be a timed Epic Store exclusive. I understand why people are mad, I am mad as well, but giving a bad review to a good game isn't the best way to voice your opinion. It does send a message, but it's the wrong one.

The entire Borderlands franchise is excellent, with Borderlands 2 standing tall as the best of the bunch. I've sunk well over a thousand hours into the game, on multiple accounts (so I can get 100% achievements again) and I've bought copies of it for my family as well. It's been worth every penny.

The game is a perfect combination of tongue-in-cheek humor, ridiculous characters, diverse areas, and guns. Lots and lots of guns. It's your choice how casually or intensely you approach the game - you can play through the story once and be done with it, or you can continue on to the more difficult playthroughs all the way to UVHM level 72 and beyond to Overpower Level 8. And THEN you can start farming all the legendary/seraph/pearlescent/unique weapons in the game. Maybe even go for optimal gun parts.

The BL games are advertised as having "bazillions" of guns, and that's achieved by combining gun parts from different manufacturers to make your gun drops. You're sure to find guns to suit your playstyle. Maybe you want a sniper rifle that lights your enemies on fire? Or a shotgun that shoots balls of electricity? Or an SMG that slows you down and makes annoying noises? BL2's got you, boo.

Contains a permanently missable achievement, so any achievement hunters who first try to experience the game without any spoilers (such as checking achievement descriptions/guides beforehand) are pretty much screwed.

Most likely achievable by removing all traces of the game (registry and all) and then reinstalling, but on principle any game that screws with achievements hunters gets a thumbs down from me.

People who abuse the Youtube copyright takedown system have no business being in game development. You can't first give explicit permission to upload and monetize gameplay videos and then issue takedowns based on differences in political views or personal dislike of a Youtuber.

Shame, since the game is actually pretty good, but the dev is definitely on my Beware List now.

Hauntingly beautiful.

There's now a perfect trifecta of short 3rd person puzzle games with a story. They all try some fresh gameplay ideas, and in my opinion succeed masterfully. I'm talking about Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Contrast and my latest pleasant surprise Papo & Yo.
