Great game overall. Good story, good gunplay and the optimization is flawless, how TLOU should be.

It's been almost 2 months since the release and there is no fix for the performance issue. Devs promised FSR and DLSS and nothing happened yet (I doubt this will solve the problem really).

The game is a good competition to Monster Hunter and deservers a proper engine. Game is not unplayable but is not enjoyable playing it with 40-70 fps especially for a fast paced game like this.

Is there a way to refund the game? I have tried using the option for the "game performance" but Steam denied the request.

112 hrs on record which are 20 hrs around in queue, 40 hrs AFK to don't lose my spot (sometimes I play in short periods of time, 30 min to 1 hr, etc) and 52 hrs total playable time. I'm really trying to give it the chance to the game, to convince me of staying but the first 10 hours were fun, exploring, discovering the game, how it works every weapon, different builds for each wep but after that timeline, it's have been a downfall. Now I'm almost level 39 meditating if it's worth to keep going or if the endgame will be fun

Pros
- Graphics: Game looks pretty good, you feel you are near a forest / swamp / tropical jungle, etc. Overall lightning is awesome too.
- Optimization: Game works well, stable FPS and nearly no crashing (had just 1 crush at 9PM so I had to wait for 3 hrs to get into the game again)
- Economy: There are a different economy for each area and that's good, no overpopulated cities except for the initial ones, but time will tell
- Crafting: It's looks interesting to see how it's gonna develop the endgame crafting of weapons, armours, etc. Also, it's possible to play as a trader
-Price: No monthly fee and low price for a mmorpg, it's a deal

Cons
- Incomplete: Game feels incomplete. Plenty of places empty (without mobs), map feels empty without any interaction between npcs (no wolfs attacking a rabbit or something or a fight between npc's), poor variety of mobs, houses and caves. You can't check your inventory when you run from one site to another or when you are skinning, logging, harvesting, etc.
- Combat: 3 skills per weapon, this makes the combat very straighforward. Use skill, dodge, light attack, next skill, etc. Heavy attacks are barely used because of the delay after the end of animation so, avoid it. 6 skills in total with both weapons, but changing weps in combat is very situational, maybe for CC but it last like 1 sec the stun or 3 secs the slow. Not worth to be exposed like that
- Mobs Respawn: Some mobs respawn pretty quick instead of some mobs that have a high respawn timer. Example, a quest that you have to kill a bear and skin it, the bear respawn in like 5 mins? There were at least 20 people waiting to do this. Happened again with a sheep killing/skinning quest, I waited for an hour to end it
- Queues: Yes, I created my main character in a overpopulated server (didn't know when I created the char) because I logged as soon the servers opened. Played like a maniac getting level 15 or around that. I was not gonna lose that progress
- Quests: Same quests all the time. Kill X, open Y chests or kill Z and skin Z. There are some exceptions like fishing quests but in general, that's it
- Swimming: YOU CAN'T SWIM, wtf
- Dungeons: It's a total chaos, mobs attacking randomly and you can't track all the mobs, sometimes you will be hit by a staggering blow, It's like if there is no aggro in the game. Also, not fun to do it, one time for the quests and that's all, didn't want to repeat it
- Stairs: It's not a big deal but when you go downstairs, your characters makes a fall animation
- Mounts / Map Travelling: You will spend a lot of time walking between quest places. It's A LOT. Fast travel to shrines helps a little but it's not enough
- Armor / Weapon Design: I feel like the current design of the clothes, weapons, armors, etc are not attractive. It's doesn't feel like getting better gear makes you looks more powerful. The colonial theme it's not for me at least

Pros
- Interesting skillset for all the classes
- Plenty of casual things to do, like exploration and home building

Cons
- Not properly optimized
- High ping if you are from outside the US (affects especially the PvP)
- Expensive
- For PvE users, the endgame is nearly null. You can have max item level in like 2-3 weeks just getting in and doing the raids 1 time a week (3 hrs with matchmaking, 2 hrs probably with a good guild)

If you are a hardcore PvE player, avoid this. I wish I could refund this :(
