Excellent atmosphere. Great story. Puzzles are very difficult, for better and worse.

Dishonored is probably my game of the year for 2012. There aren't enough stealth games and this one is brilliant. You can rush through the game and murder everything you see, but don't. Take the time to plan your approach and I think you get a better experience. If you plan to just run and gun, I think there are better games. Not that this is bad at that, but you're missing a lot of what the game has in store if you do.

I currently have 200 hours in this game (with DLC) if that tells you anything. It is brutally difficult, has tons of unlocks that directly affect gameplay, and is randomized every time you play. There are no saves and you get only one life, but a successful complete run only takes 30-60 minutes, even with the extra expansion levels. Part of what got me hooked on it is the ability to just play for an hour after work and be done with it. It is easily the best price to time spent ratio I've gotten from any game.
