Great fun, progressing early on can be a little challenging if you don't have the right car but stick with it and do some of the "Invitation" events to quickly build up some cash if you need it. Much easier to navigate than the previous game, and the opponents are a little more interesting to race.

Charming, cute, short and sweet little game. Good music, artwork, and just a pleasant time.

A throwback to the old classic racers, but with modern sensibilities and game modes. Above all it's a very zen experience if you get in the flow, drifting through the corners and zoning out to the excellent music.

The new update (1.2) is essentially a new game, or at least a remaster, which makes some big changes to the way the AI works, but the option to revert to the previous version is there in the beta section. The older version was generally less challenging, so might be worth looking at if you want a more relaxed experience.

After playing the demo of GREYHAT a while back, I knew I'd be clearing some time to play this on launch, something I can rarely do these days. I'd really recommend you do play the demo as it's the opening of the full game, and a perfect slice of the story and style of gameplay that you'll be getting. The gameplay itself can be a little uneven, but it makes a certain amount of sense when you consider the nature of what you are doing, and the story is engaging and does encourage a little bit of snooping around to learn a little more, although I'd have liked a little more of that sort of optional exploration. It's an impressive feat for a single developer to pull off, and I had a blast playing through it.

Trying to not give anything away, Football Game is a short (just over an hour to completion, playing reasonably slowly) point and click adventure game with a lot of style, an intriguing setting and premise, and atmosphere. Boy does it have atmosphere. If you've played A Date in the Park, one of Cloak and Dagger Games' other short adventure games, you have an idea of what to expect, and if not, I'd recommend downloading it - it's free on Steam - and playing through to completion. If you enjoy that, it's very likely you'll enjoy this. Puzzles are fairly simple, the narrative is linear, and it's another very strong short game.

I'll include some thoughts in spoiler tags, which if you are on the fence you can read, but I would advise against it if you are at all interested. I feel that to give a review it is important to include thoughts on the latter part of the game, so I will discuss it vaguely.

Overall, I had a great time playing, it is an emotive, atmospheric, bite-sized tasty morsel, and despite some misgivings, I'm glad such a talented little team have put this out. It's a great time for point and click adventure games.

Having just played through the game to completion in one short sitting, I feel that the lack of clarity regarding the ending and the level of interpretation left to the player is disappointing. I personally do not feel like I have enough information to put the story together - and if it is a commentary on certain themes featured, and not meant to be an ending as such, I'm more disappointed. Having said that, it's still an impressive package, and again, I'm glad such a talented little team have put this out.

Neofeud is a largely story-focused, puzzle-light, traditional point and click adventure, with a unique art style, plenty of dialogue, and a dystopian cyberpunk setting, which attempts to critique a range of social issues. I found it entertaining, impressively ambitious for a single developer (artist / musician / programmer / voice actor ... ), and overall a charming wander through a somewhat meandering story.

It is likely to be an acquired taste for all manner of reasons - the art style will probably immediately dictate whether you are drawn in or pushed away (I love it), the story contains all manner of clichés and homages, there is a lot of dialogue, and the voice acting might not be to your liking - although I thought the voice acting, in all cases, gave great personality to the characters.

The music is great, obviously trying to emulate classic sci-fi tracks (the Vangelis track is perhaps more than an homage).

Aside from the very divisive features already mentioned, for me there could have been more puzzles, and it would have been nice to have a less dialogue-heavy route through the game, as it did really bog down in some sections. If you don't like the constant references to sci-fi and popular culture - some (most) of which feel very jarring - and the writing in general, then you're probably going to bounce straight off.

Overall it's a flawed but entertaining adventure game with great art (very subjective), great music, interesting characters, and a story that I wanted to see through.

(I bought the game through itch.io, and played it to completion (around 10 hours at a leisurely pace), hence the low Steam hours.)

A very quirky, interesting, and over all else charming modern FMV adventure game. The cast are great and their performances really make the experience fun, and they're well aware of what they're up to and are part of the jokey nature of it all.

You've got an evening to solve the mystery of a girl's apparent suicide in a small English village. You do this by wandering around talking to the various characters available to you, and picking the contradictions in their accounts, while gathering evidence where you can. It's a streamlined process, and the fact that the video is such high quality makes it all very slick - once you get used to the controls.

The couple downsides are the slightly inconsistent audio quality, and the slight drop off of the story towards the conclusion - but these are small quibbles.

Overall a very enjoyable, fun, warm adventure, and I hope to see a sequel with the same actors, even if playing different characters.
