Shadow of Mordor but better. You know that orc system that everyone loved? Yeah, it's 10x better. They actually mean something now and the game is focused around it, you get the ability to control orcs within the first 2 hours of the game rather then in Mordor where it was actually in the last 2 hours. Forts are controlled by orcs and you can take them over with your own army of orcs. It also introduces a fun clash-of-clansish multiplayer, where you can raid other people forts for ranks as well as in-game money called "spoils of war" which if you get 1000 of you get a lootchest that contains some really good gear, you can also avenge other players, which for me has always ended in a sh*tfest of 5-ish captains who
I have no intel on ganging up against me, though I admit it was fun.

The first game was known for how fun the combat and movement system was, and its the same but feels alot smoother, although I have had some trouble with it i.e. getting stuck on a rock and not being able to jump off, it's pretty fun. The quests are pretty good, but not amazing. Everything else about the game is trash though, skills system is garbage, they introduced this system where you have a parent skill then 2-4 child skills, but you can only have 1 child skill activated at a time, by level 30 I had gotten every perk that I can actually use and it just felt like a chore to select one.

Another horrid feature is microtransactions, they are poorly implemented and garbage. In the game I had opened some chests and got 5 XP boosts, I had to use all of them just to stand a chance against bosses, and the worst thing is quests give you the most XP, so if you didn't have an XP boost active when you started that quests, well sorry but you just lost 30K XP that you could of gotten with double XP, It encourages new players to buy lootboxes just to rank up and have fun. My advice: Cheat engine. Litterally cheat in the money just to give a big duck you to the money hungry devs charging £90 for 12,000 credits, If your picking the big mythril chests thats only about 25ish lootboxes, that is over £3 for a single lootbox in a single player game that (dont quote me on this) can all be reset if you decide to start a new game, that is absolutley insane.

So much better then Dishonored 2, yet it's only barebones. The story continues from the daud story arc from D1, and everything is done so well. The old power system is gone, you now get abilities/powers and weapons by progressing and bone charms, making picking up bonecharms alot more relevant. Personally, I like this but I think the ability to upgrade should of been included, it is really not as bad as it sounds. The powers you do get are some of the best in a dishonored game, including an ability resembling noclip, and functions of this are exploited throughout the game, you will find an area and be like "ha, I glitched the map!" just to find something to do with the quest on a table infront of you. The story is extremely short and takes a while to takeoff, but when it does it is extremely fun. The endings are good, but limited, the only choice that matters is your last choice, if you get high chaos you can still do the low chaos ending. Plus it has a better launch then D2, I can run it on ultra where in D2 I couldnt launch it for the first week.

Just finished main story, it was a bit of rollercoaster really TL;DR: S3- Bad S4+ Amazing

Story is pretty bad with no character development until episode 4, then after it is comparable to Season 1 for its character development, it is really good. S5 saved this game, I picked the save gabe option and the ending was really good, but there is some obvious bs classic telltale, where their are some quite big loopholes in the story which are extremely cliche and you can predict what will happen, in the ending that I picked A main character dies, extremely dramatically and really well done(props to tt), then the more developed main character can't be found, and is assumed dead. No tension is put on this scene, no drama, despite them probally being in the top 5 most loveable characters, so they are going to come back

Another thing that makes this game horrid is the horrific bugs, I laughed at scenes that are supposed to be dramatic due to lagging horses, cars, spassing character and lots of others. But that isn't the worse, the worse thing by far are the seemingly random crashes, not only do these only seem to happen at intense moments but when they do happen you have to play about 10 mins worth of cutscenes and dialogue all over again! Overall 3 sub-par episodes, but 2 amazing ones, ruined by bugs and crashes, I can't recommend this game. However I can say, all the people saying the new characters are terrible are really blind, they have some good character in them(past episode 3) its just that clementine is a nostalgic charcter that has been milked too much. S4s plot seems interesting but if it goes the same way as this game I am not buying.

Launch was terrible, one of the worst launches for a triple A game I think I have ever seen, performance issues, hell I couldn't even launch the game. After they released a few patches I was able to actually play, and I actually had a decent 120 frames on very low after a week from launch. This game is amazing, if you liked the original Dishonored then you will love this game, only problem is with bethesdas addiction to add voice actors unnesseccarily, for example corvo now has a voice, it is fitting but it kind of ruins the roleplay element and how badass corvo seemed in the original by not talking to anyone. The story allows you to pick Emily or Corvo, the story is the same but however the powers are different, giving it some replayability, and they have added a very creative way to be loud and get no kills, which is really fun to do. Overall ignoring launch this game is so good and I would buy it if you have a high end setup. Otherwise wait until a sale and buy it for a cheap price.

Ignore the negative people on here, the only downside is the huge price tag, wait till the winter sale or till next year for a big price drop. If you already had skyrim and the dlcs you will get it for free, and I mean, who doesn't like free?

But on a actual review standpoint, this game has improved skyrim a bit, better textures and foilage i would of never expected from bethesda, its set a new standared. However, I seem to have noticed sounds are alot more muffled in the UI and honestly hurts my ears to listen too if you played the original. Also they have revamped partical effects drastically, smoke and fog are much better to look at, but fog is everywhere and in some cases it can get anoying, on my 970 im getting around 100-150 frames average. The true highlight of this is the change from 32 to 64 bit, this allows things like ALT+Tab to actually work now, and when modding resources update to this version it will allow more mods to run at once. This version is taking steps towards something great.

I am a first time fallout player and a long follower of bethesda, mostly interested in The Elder Scroll series by them, following them since the second installment. This is a really really great game, and I normally hate apocalypse based games, this does not give you as much freedom as the other Bethesda games as there is a voiced character, however this does not restrict you from killing everyone, or act like your killing everyone. The only thing that I can complain about is that you are given your role from the begining. Now for the tech stuff, I have a great PC, only thing that isnt great is my cpu which is hopefully being changed soon, this game crashes ALOT, ever 10 mins or on startup to be exact, this is random and will probally be fixed soon as bethesda has stated. The gameplay however, is amazing. The story is great, the characters have AMAZING personalities and they are alot more interesting then other bethesda games, the thing that bought me in is the amazing scenery around the main city, it is really immersive and actually feels like your in were a nuke had been off a few hundred years ago. So to conclude downsides: Crashes, LOTS of crashes, non chosable objectives. Upsides: Amazing gameplay, great scenery, great story, personality filled characters and choices

EDIT: They fixed the crashes, so this is a definite GOTY contender.

I wouldn't clal it bad, but it's a pay-win game that really draws money out of you pocket, though that siad you can still be alot better then them and without pvp, it doesn't really matter and just makes it more challenging for F2Ps like me. Honestly though I like it and unless you dispise pay2win I would reccommend trying it out once.

A more depressing version of sims, really makes you sad and question your own sanity. 10/10 Probally wouldn't kill that poor unarmed old lady again.

My favourite game ever when i was younger was dead island, the multiplayer mode lets you make lots of friends(Some of my friends i play with to today I met on dead island) because of it's buginess, and this for me was not a dissapointment- Glitches everywhere!!!! Falling, flying, spinning, all types of glitched zombies. On the other side another part of the game that i noticed is that this is a hit-and-run-poop-yourself-at-night simulator(Not joking, actually pooped my pants a little on the third mission). The game has good weapon system, blueprints make for some intresting combat and can sometimes make you a tank, or a walking fluffy kitten who just learned to walk (So cute :3), anyways, back on topic. This game doesn't need a serious review because it's not a serious game, and it's campaign tries to hard to be, but i will give a list of my pros and cons for this game.

Pros:
1.Very very nice parkour system
2.Unique, easy-to-use crafting system
3.Intresting skill system
4.Very intresting and challenging quests
5.Wide variety of types of zombies, making it strategic and some situations
6.Some of the best graphics I have seen in a game.

Both:
1.Physics engine(Very fun to mess around with but sometimes can be glitchy and could really make you mad if you don't like bugs)
2.Glitches(from spinning zombies to glitchy AI, this game is full of funny bugs. but some are gamebreaking, like dupes, save corruptions, loading times, and other things made specifacaly to ruin your day)

Cons:
1.Very boring main story, feels like it was kinda rushed, and is not worth really doing. You get nothing from it.
2.Skill systems agility and combat trees seem to have things that you should be able to have at the begining(wall running, power attack, grappling hooks)
3.Zombies are too hard to kill, and humans are practically impossible to kill at the beginning unless you find a gun, making the early game airdrops(which only get released continiously early-game) very difficult to get.
4.This isn't really a con, more of just an improvement, they need a downwards grip system, if you want to get down somewhere you need to land on a trash can or van(Logic right) to not take fall damage, after this game you will conquer your fear of hights and begin to punch the ground.
5. Bad main character, hardly any of it makes sense, considering you are agent working for this game universes "agent of the hospital service"(I have no idea) you expect to get evacs or some escape (this is a very small spoiler but, well, you get bitten at the start) to get picked up and return to the agency, or your character to show some kind of anger over them just leaving you in a zombie infested land asking you to find something you know nothing about. But no, they do nothing. Also, you could of killed the main villain thousands of times. I mean in a cutscene you pick up a gun and just litterally shoot one of his goons, not him, and hes standing right their!
6. Main one for me, high system specs, lack of support for some very popular driver makers like AMD and other companies, i mean I got my Nividia GTX 660 about 2 months ago and it still ruins this game on like 30 FPS.
7.Bugs- Yes i know i mentioned it in the "both" categorie but i hated this thing, I have a 60 second loading screen and it can take ages to load, I have pretty new drivers and everyhing, when i went to look up this bug i found diffrent types of bugs, hardly any where the same but this is getting lots of bugs like this, and me being a victim, i am infuriated i spent £40 on this game, it should really be a £25-£35 game to be honest.

Tbh I only bought this game cause techland developed my favourite game when i was younger(Already stated) and thought "You know what, this is going to be a barel of fun!", the lag framerate drops and other things really take from the experience though(This could just be my computer but idk, probally is). In summary very good game, really is the best game thats came out in like the last 3-4 months in my opinion. Though the price and bugs due to hardware do take from my overall judgement. If you just got £40 this month and are not going to get any more money for a while, don't buy dying light. Any other circumstances, i would say this game is very fun. 8/10
