An incredible addition to the Resident Evil franchise. Resident Evil 7 brought a return-to-form in a survival horror experience with a focus on puzzle solving and an unbeatable atmosphere. 8's ability to send you through an expansive and detailed map, that feels alive due to the day-night cycle and the dynamic setting, changing based on in-game events. This is an immersive horror experience that grips the player for multiple sessions. Even on play through 4 I found things I missed previously. This might be, objectively, the best game in the Resident Evil franchise BECAUSE of how Resident Evil this game is. It does everything right. Five star

I wouldn't bat an eye at paying full price a second time just to re experience this game. The level of intrigue it brought was astounding and if weird eldritch horror is your vibe go for it instantly. I will say as you learn more about the mechanics of the enemies the intrigue is lost a bit, a big fish is less scary when you know exactly how it works. I'd say moving forward keep a level of random to it.

I'd say my favorite moments were the ship in the distance that every once and a while would just bolt at you. It was very scary

I highly recommend Lego harry potter years 1-4. It is one of, in my opinion, the most important building blocks (haha) for lego moving forward into the video game industry. A lot of new mechanics were explored and fleshed out in later games. Lego harry potter is a must have!!!
