Literally the most miserable experience ever, cheaters everywhere, full aimbot, spinbot, basically no anti-cheat.

Then I closed out of CS2.

This game deserves a positive review just on design alone. There's character and meticulous detail oozing from every corner. The animations and artistic vision are outstanding. That being said, this is not my kind of game and it is okay for it to not be a kind of game you enjoy. Not everyone has the time or patience to master this very unique combat style. Play what you'd like, but don't spoil others' fun. 10/10

A game that criticizes modern streaming culture and explores the mental hurdles that may come with a life online. Your streamer girlfriend, Ame, is most certainly not cut out for the criticism and mental demands set in place for such a life online, and it is your duty to attempt to keep her mostly mentally intact until the 30 day deadline and popularity quota is due. This task will be herculean and can best be described as attempting to dodge individual raindrops in a category 5 hurricane.

The main character you interact with, Ame, is fairly believable and realistic. The outcomes are obviously exaggerated and some are flat out insane, but overall, for such a simple game about resource management, there is plenty to see.

There are 27 endings to the game as well as a true ending, however, I do not see myself returning to get the full experience as it is pre-requisite to achieve all endings, including negative ones first. The game can get repetitive rather quickly, and the dialogue of both the stream and chat are rather lackluster and lack much depth. There will be recurring texts between runthroughs that are selected randomly, but will reoccur rather frequently.

This will be a relatively fun romp the first time through, but you will be consulting guides which basically spoil the result in order to achieve the other endings.

All in all, this was an interesting exploration into what it may be like as a streamer, perhaps not on twitch, but some dystopian completely unmoderated streaming site.

And no, this is not a suitable replacement for a real girlfriend. Please touch grass.

Non-Spoiler Review, if you're interested in this game, get it and play it blind.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes a good story, and perhaps dabbles in discussions of philosophy and perspective. There isn't much for gameplay except for text choices and clicking through voiced dialogue.

As for the contents...

How often do you truly appreciate how many ways a singular perhaps even apparently mundane event can play out? Does the universe exist if there is no observer to behold it? Is there joy in a world where there is no pain? Is death what gives life meaning?

Life is about choices. Do you fear the consequences of your actions enough to desire a world with no consequence?

Ask yourself, and find out. Slay the Princess. Or don't.

A game whose balance updates can best be described as a rudderless vessel.

This was a charming game. Well, as charming as running a cult with eldritch magical powers can be, anyhow.

Just picture what cults do in your head. Alright, good. Now just put some cute, cartoony animals with a lamb in charge of running the whole operation. Done? Now slap a roguelike 2D adventure mode on it and voila, you have Cult of the Lamb.

Now throw all of that out the window because your entire cult has died of dysentry because you forgot to empty the outhouse. 10/10.

A fun experience, but not exactly a great 'game'. Some features are lacking in polish, so ends up feeling like a guessing game sometimes. Jumpscares are a bit excessive and replay constantly, but it is fun for a while. Great time with cowardly friends :)

The true ending of the game is when the whole thing crashes, and this game refuses to crash unless you summon Armageddon. Good luck.
