To The Moon is definitely an interactive story more than a game, but please don't let that turn you away and cause you to miss out on an amazing experience. This is a story that will hit you, possibly directly, in The Feels™. It takes around four hours total depending on how quickly you move through, but please do yourself a favor and don't rush through. Freebird Games did an excellent job in presenting an emotional story which will keep you glued to your screen.

Pick an evening, sit back, and take the time to enjoy the tale as it unfolds.

***second update - 2020***

I still pop in and run a heist from time to time and I would still recommend the game to new folks if they have some friends to form a crew. There are SO many achievements now to hunt down that I doubt I'll ever get close to getting them all, but it gives something to work on when I do fire it up. Looking forward to more updates and eventually Payday 3!

Oh, Payday - we've had some ups and downs, but in the end I feel you did just fine. Maybe you went a little over the top on the DLC, but I'm still enjoying heists every now and again with my friends and the cost/hours played so far is just fine. I stick with my original quickly written bare bones review from before.

(Although stealth still could use some work, didn't do a lot of that the first time around...)

IT'S CRIME TIME!!!
Great game with great mechanics! Tons of fun when you can roll in with same crew long enough to make any mission smooth. Also tons of fun when people are learning and causing missions to go to hell so you have to pull the crew out of the fire.

Twin stick, perk gaining, zombie blasting action! Great fun, especially with friends!

A friend of mine put it best, he said, "It's like they took everything I enjoy from multiple games and smashed it together into one awesome game!" - solid tower defense combined with interactive player defense and maintenance with a huge helping of Diablo/Borderlands-esque item generation, pets and more!
