The enemy encounter are overall too overwhelming, the shark is main obstacle in this game (I would say it's equivalent to the darkness in Don't Starve). You and your raft will be constantly attacked by the Shark. You will spend most of your time protective your raft and yourself from the Shark, while progressing through the story. And you can't just be relax and enjoy any other elements of the game.

Why do I recommend this game?

I switched to a peaceful mode and just enjoy gathering and building without any Shark's disturbance.
Without an enemy encounter, it is a fun game to play and be creative, and you can slowly progress through the story whenever you feel like you wanted to.

It is a peaceful life.

The idea of being able to grab your teammate's banner and respawn them after they're dead make this game more bearable than any other battle royale game. As long as your teammate doesn't give up on you, you can come back to life as many time as you want. Also with high amount of armor health and characters' unique mobility skills, it make it easier for you to survive and achieve in high placement even if you're not that good at aiming. Devs also really good at listening to the community and adapt people comments to the game. There are some bugs every update but it doesn't affect quality of life that much, it usually got fix right away in next patch.
