Enjoyed this very much. It fits in to portal lore between 1 and 2 quite nicely.. i'm impressed with the new game mechanics that were introduced. Excellent mod, great voice acting and storyline. It's a "must play" for any Portal fans.

Replayed this after 21 years and just noticed Jason Statham voicing Sargeant Waters. Awesome single player campaigns for its time. The COD franchise seems to have lost its way from these early offerings.

Epic... Halflife 3.... The future is now.... Gnome Chompski is back. This is the VR experience that everyone has been wanting so long for. All the years spent waiting for new Halflife content and Alyx does not disapoint. Playing through the Black mesa mod to relive the original story and then jumping into this is simply awesome. The gravity gloves are a joy and the wrist pockets and backpack are ingenious. I'm loving the weapon mechanics and the headcrabs ......

I love crap FPS's and this is one of the best. In my head, Ubersoldier is an amazing game but my friend always tells me otherwise to the point that it is now a running joke. He never got past level one but i'm sure if he had persevered, he would have acknowledged the awesomeness of Ubersoldier(not available on steam) and its sequel(available on steam).

Fantastic......loved every minute, especially the little bonus experience at the end! Can't wait for more of this.

I launched it with the "-novr" option and set the screen size to "setting.defaultres" "1920"
"setting.defaultresheight" "1080" in \SteamVRPerformanceTest\vr\cfg\video.txt

I also used the "-multigpu" command in the launch options which worked for my crossfire setup.

Still no audio but it lets me move around and reminds me that she is watching!

Excellent FPS game. Dunno how I haven't played this until now. Loads of action, cool sci-fi storyline and awesome set pieces with lots of different enemies if you like that sort of thing. The world reminds me of so many different FPS games that came since this was released. It took me a while to sort out the game settings such as turning off specular shadows and ambient lighting to get the best graphics for my "modern hardware". love it.

Awesome game...underrated. Took me 27 hours on first play through. Longer than the original half life but not as fun eventhough you have adrenaline mode (bullet time). Found myself skipping the long storyline cut scenes to get at the action. Some very good level design with a good variety of levels although some were too long. Lots of great action but also lots of annoying bits. Great value for money and a must for any FPS single player campaign fans. Modern FPS campaigns can be completed in 5-8 hours so I was loving some extended retro FPS action.

Awesome game that takes me back to the original awsomness that was FarCry and brings it bang up to date. FarCry 2 was gash. Plenty to keep you occupied whilst exploring the islands with side missions and the main story arc. I got a little bored with the dumb human AI after the main story was completed although the wildlife was fun. ( I seem to remember the AI in the original to be more challenging) Some amazing eye candy and I would play through again when my graphics can handle it on full tilt.

This game is really underrated. A simple and solid shooter. The enemies are powerful. You can't just run and gun, you have think and use tactics. It's a real challenge unlike some other FPS i have played. Think I picked it up in a Steam sale for an absolutle bargain price of 95p!
