It's ok.

I wouldn't buy this game for the multiplayer or pvp. Singleplayer experience is pretty solid. Graphics looks amazing, gameplay is fluid and skills executed nicely.


BUT the pvp is horrid. IF the guy you're fighting is lagging, you only see him sliding around which gives them a massive advantage. They could be charging R2 or chug while you're left there wondering what the **ck is going on. You'll never see the enemy hit, they slide into you and you take damage.

For the record, i'm playing on a 350mb cable. So i highly doubt i'd be the one lagging 9/10 invasions.


Recommended to wait for a sale or a fix into the netcode (Which will never happen i assume.).

First when i bought this game i was afraid it's going to be one of those "crappy license" -games, but boy oh boy was i wrong.

First of all, yes.. it is open-world, just pick a car and driiiiiiive!

Graphics; The game looks extremely good when played on full graphics, all the explosions, flying car parts, pulling things with the harpoon... Eye candy EVERYWHERE!

The gameplay is fantastic, main focus is pretty much on vehicle combat with all the gadgets you can apply to your car (which you also modify into your liking, whether it's more speed or more durability and combat oriented, all up to you!),
games currency is "scrap" which is used to upgrade your car and max itself.

Combat is pretty straight forward on foot, i would compare it straight into the batman -series where you press LMB to hit and RMB to block / parry. Makes you feel like superman just punching everyone in the face.

The only "bad" thing about the game is repetitiveness. You do the same stuff over and over again when trying to accomplish your dream car.

Overall i'd give this game 8/10 and would recommend it to everyone, not just the fans of madmax.
(PS. Didn't even see the newest movie if it makes someone doubt buying this.)

In general a fun game to play.

Combat system is similar to that of the Batman -series, left-click to hit and right-click to parry which works great.

Combining the 3 weapons (Sword, dagger and bow) into a solid combat mechanic, everything works out great.

Choose how to engage the enemy; all-in close combat w/ sword, sneaking and taking em out one-by-one or use the range of your bow to your advantage.

Also let's not forget about the wraith powers that you'll unlock as you progress.

Graphics looks amazing, captivating enviroment.

The ending was a massive dissappointment, but everything before that was fun.

All in all, recommended for those who enjoys a good bashing in the middle-earth scenery.
