For me this game feels unique. In it's core it's a shooter with basic mechanics, huge but empty open world and alot of not-so-exciting-looting.
Maybe it's the atmosphere that really got me. In a way this "empty" map adds to the feeling of tension and creepiness of this game. Atleast in the beginning it really feels like you're being hunted while trying to sneak around your enemies while ambushing some weaker enemies. Encountering each robot for the first time was always exciting and you never knew what kinda weapons they had and so on.
I've also been only playing this with my brother and we've had a blast.

!!You have to have kinda high tolerance for bugs and glitches tho!! coz' boy... there are kinda alot of them.
While writing this short review with a bunch of filler words, here are some major that are still present in the game:
- enemies are sometimes stuck at shooting animation, like a tank keeps on shooting with it's minigun non-stop. Yes, it deals damage.
- enemies more often than not can just clip/phase thru walls of buildings while taking cover in a bigger combat scenario.
Being upstairs sniping robots while dodging bullets, sometimes retreating to downstairs only to find out there's a runner or a hunter there; which should not be possible. It can startle you tho haha. A wee bit bigger problem are barns where they can just suddenly appear in front of you; yes, inside.
- sometimes there are robots you can see, but your co-players won't. They are harmless tho. They take hits but never die, but they also just stand there doing absolutely nothing.
Then, not sure if it's a bug or a feature at this point but needs to be fixed in my opinion: when an enemy detects either of you; y'all be detected. So "if one guy screws up, you all have to run".
And also many minor bugs like idle-, and ambiance sounds are not synced; detection meter can flash red randomly or be stuck in your vicinity and sometimes robot sounds get stucked on a loop in one area. Like you've destroyed a runner but you can hear it making noises in that spot until you just leave.

Taking care of these baddies is where the fun is. Especially at the beginning when you don't have powerful equipment yet.
Targeting certain components to get rid of their guns and so on. Big guys are the most fun. AI can be goofy something tho, making some supposedly hard situations really easy. But generally if you see four hunters roaming around in an open area, you wanna be sneaky instead of taking them head on.
As in any game with progression (and ofc your skill as a player increasing) it can get almost too easy. Mainly because dying has no real penalty. You have a limited supply of revival items but there are a few work-arounds which can make dying more like a tactical option and a loss to save your adrenaline and medkits.

Inventory is kinda a hassle but I guess you get used to it. Every item needs to be set in your very limited quickslots to use them. Some of them should be usable from the menu itself. And crafting is borderline useless. Enemies deal a lot of damage so all these damage reduction modifiers are not necessary at all.
Despite all the bugs and negative features, me and my brother have enjoyed this game a great deal. Not sure if I would play it solo.
