This is the stupidest fun I've had in a while

A great city builder rogue-lite. The scale of the city itself is fairly small because you only work on a given city until enough criteria have been met, gain some progression materials, and move onto the next city. It avoids the mid-game slump a lot of city builders fall into, where you've stabilized and are just waiting for the population to slowly grow, by only spending an hour or two on each city. It means you spend a larger amount of your time in the early stages of a city where your actions feel more meaningful. The random elements are sufficient to push you in different directions in each city, depending on which races/cornerstones/buildings you unlock. Maybe you'll go for trade-based wins, or exploration, or population happiness, or a mix. It would be difficult to fall into a pattern of always doing the same things, unless you're playing on too easy a difficulty or you're okay with losing a lot.

I forgot to mention: the devs are also constantly taking feedback and improving the game.

An interesting *Cells entry. As usual, you don't need to guess to solve any of the puzzles. And I want to downplay what others have been saying about needing to chain multiple logic chains together to figure things out. I can't remember needing to chain much of anything; it's just difficult to at a glance find the next tile you can rule out/in.

Highly recommend for coop, even with just one friend. There's definitely a level of jank: sometimes you'll be shot before the enemy turns hostile, sometimes stun grenades a foot in front of the enemy won't stun them, and a couple times we were soft locked at the end of the map because it mistracked the number of enemies/evidence (I think this one has been fixed). Still, had a great time.

Probably awesome with 4 players. With me and a friend, half of the band members were bots that we only had control of while drafting cards and on the world map. It really limited any strategy we could put together. Not a fan of relying on AI in a strategy game.

Great game. Guns feel great, armor variety is good (although I refused to give up fast roll, but there are ways to deal with that), dodging is satisfying and smooth. I'd suggest starting the game on Hard instead of Normal

Great game. There's a lot of differences between each run, so things still feel fresh. Ascension system has a nice curve to the difficulty.
