The artstyle of this makes it look like something it really isn't. Even if it looks a bit like a low-budget JRPG, the story is genuinely unique and one of the best I've experienced in a game in a long time. It kept me guessing throughout the (surprisingly long) play time, and has themes much bigger than it appears on the surface. If it looked like Disco Elysium critics would be raving over it (and I expect we'll see a lot of articles praising it some time in the future).

I'd also strongly advise sticking with it despite the slightly baffling start, everything begins to make sense over time.

If it hadn't been for the mention of it in the Skillup games of the year video, I don't think I'd have ever considered trying it out. I'm very glad I did.

A lovely little puzzle game in the Obra Dinn style of figuring things out through clues and logic.

Great stuff. Very funny, and the platforming is pretty challenging sometimes.
