While its an incredibly fun and difficult roguelike, the game is brutally rng-based and it is very much possible to get runs where your goal is impossible to obtain. The more you use the spells and perks, you'll start to notice the tooltips are intentionally misleading or inaccurate in many cases, omitting extremely important information you can only find on a wiki. The main sequence is enjoyable and fairly paced, but don't expect to get much further without guides or the wiki.

Short and sweet: This game's story, progression, map, detail, music, visuals, sound design, and characters are top-notch. At the moment, this is my favorite single-player game I've personally ever played.

HOWEVER, the constant nagging of minor to moderately severe bugs has significantly annoyed me at some points, even making progression impossible in others before it eventually just works again. If you're on the fence between playing this game or not, maybe give it a couple weeks for some hotfixes first.

One of the most stressful survival games I've ever played. I think the last time I was so scared an imaginary monster was going to show up behind me was when I played Minecraft when I was 10 years old, afraid of Herobrine. Truly horrifying.

Extremely addictive. Extremely fun. Extremely realistic. One of the best early-access games I've ever seen so far! HIGHLY recommend with friends!

I haven't laughed this hard with friends in a multiplayer Steam game in a while. Great game, highly suggest!
