An absolutely precious 3D platformer. Good controls, good level designs, good puzzles, great vibe all around. Also some creepy undertones and spooky lore if you dig deep enough. It's not very challenging tho. No lives, no health, damage only sends you flying and pitfalls bring you to the last doorway. Very casual and forgiving, but not to the point of insulting. If you are looking for a very relaxed 3D collect-a-thon platformer, this is it.

A short but fun oldschool-style FPS. Plays and feels like Duke Nukem 3D. Interesting level designs that make great use of everyday locations, nice over-the-top weapons and plenty of secrets to discover. The main selling point is definitely the entire "edgy 16-year-old designed a game in 1998" vibe, which it absolutely nails. My only real complaint is that the final boss fight is a bit awkward.

This is coming from someone who's never played any JSR games. The controls, platforming, tagging and exploration are great, and pulling off long trick combos is satisfying. The levels are big but not overly confusing, and there's collectibles to find everywhere. The soundtrack slaps pretty hard too. However, the combat is a bit lackluster, especially when it comes to hit sounds. The worst enemy is the standard cop with a pistol, because they keep hitscan sniping you off-screen and they respawn infinitely.

My biggest gripe is that the game does not explain one crucial core mechanic. When you're on foot and press any trick button followed by jump, you do the corkscrew jump. This is the game's high jump and also your most effective combat move. It is required to reach some areas and to make combat flow more smoothly, because it launches several enemies in the air, where they can be tagged for an instant takedown. The tutorials don't seem to cover this move, or at least not in a way that I would have noticed. I only learned about it from a Youtube video.

Other than that, the game is fun, flows nicely and doesn't seem to have any game-breaking bugs. Would recommend.

A rock-solid spectacle fighter / rhythm game hybrid. Good controls, good level design, funny writing and great aesthetics. Also, reasonably priced with no scummy microtransactions, and actually a finished product. The only bug I encountered, was some missing menu icons. It did kick my ass thoroughly, because I'm rhythmically challenged, but the numerous anti-frustration measures still let me beat it on normal difficulty.

A precious little 3D platformer with tight controls, good movement mechanics and nicely flowing level designs. It's very short and very easy (I completed it 100% in about 70 minutes with 0 deaths and 0 damage taken), so you definitely don't get it for the challenge. You get it for the mood, and what a mood it is.
Very loyal to N64 aesthetics, but what takes the cake, is the creepy, unnerving atmosphere with environmental storytelling that creates a whole heap of worrying implications and uncomfortable questions, none of which are answered. Very rarely do you see a game that's this chill and this spooky at the same time.
My only real gripe is that you can't quit the game from the menus, you have to force quit it from the Steam overlay.
If you're looking for a cheap, short, chill, spooky nostalgia trip, I fully recommend it.

A very interesting and trippy exploration game, will take you about 9-ish hours if you're trying to find everything. Gets the vaporwave aesthetic and message just right.

Pros:
- Great aesthetics and characters, really gets the inspiration sources.
- Interesting levels and puzzles.
- Hidden lore.
- Classic internet humor (might be a con to some).

Cons:
- Can't change mouse sensitivity and it is way too sensitive by default.
- Can't close the game through menus, gotta use Alt+F4.
- The level Geocity can get you permanently softlocked if you're not careful.
- The button for setting and activating a waypoint teleport are the same, which results in several accidental teleports if you don't clear the waypoint beforehand.

A nice and solid AA-quality (but not AAA) RPG with nice characters and overall solid gameplay, if a bit lacking in depth compared to Obsidian's other works. My biggest gripe with it is that sometimes the story feels like the writers are trying too hard to sell you their personal agendas, but it wasn't enough to ruin the overall experience for me personally. But is it worth full price? No, wait for sale as I did. I got it during the winter sale for 30 €. That seems to be the more approprate price in relation to the content and quality.
Overall, a nice and competently designed experience, that sadly lost most of the public's goodwill to scummy business practices with the now-expired Epic exclusivity.

I never got to play the PS1 originals, so this is my first introduction to the series. With that out of the way...

PROS:
+ Good controls
+ Good level design
+ Looks and sounds great

CONS:
- Both camera modes are awful when swimming or when in bossfights.
- Frustrating collision issues in some levels.
- Schizophrenic difficulty that keeps switching between insultingly easy and controller-breaking frustration, with no inbetween. Happens mostly if you try to 100% each game.

Overall, 8.5 / 10. I can see why these are considered classics.

Gameplay wise it's a fine mix of PS1-style 3D exploration and Zelda-style 2D puzzle dungeons. Story wise? Best going in completely blind. The levels of metanarrative are something special. A very weird, artsy and sometimes terrifying vibe, but unlike many other games on this level of artsy, you can actually tell what's going on with the themes and messages. No spoilers!

A fantastic throwback shooter on the Build engine. Carries on the legacy of Duke Nukem 3D nicely.

Pros:
+ Great level design
+ Nice weapons
+ John St. John killing it as Dr. Hesker
+ A LOT of secrets

Cons:
- No rocket launcher
- The designated gimmick weapons don't quite reach the same level of memorability as in other Build engine games
- Some of the secrets are so hard that you will never ever find them without a guide
