For posterity's sake
At the time of this edit, they have walked back the account linkage but still have it locked from sale in most of the countries on Earth
Great game, terrible publisher, hope they go all the way back and make PSN linking optional, and relist it for sale in every currently banned country

They could have saved all of this trouble just offering a cosmetic to link the account

I recommend this now, I'm keeping the original review because there's very little excuse for poor ports in the modern era


Launch Review: At the moment, I cannot recommend this game
When it works, it's great, but one look into the discussions troubleshooting page is evidence enough that this port has a lot of issues
At the time of this review, I got locked out of a 17 hour playtime character, on top of slew of crashes throughout launch week
I am hopeful these issues are fixed but until they are, you're probably best waiting for a bit

I have not gone back to play it, but my complaint about the ant-cheat being put in months after purchase has been rectified
It was still a very good game prior to that and I can assume it still is
