I really want to leave a good review, I really do, But I can't. Me and a bunch of other people came across a bug in chapter 5 when sneaking into the old mill where we get trapped in a room unable to leave due to the NPCs blocking the door and not moving. When entering the room in the storm drain where you find the key, the NPCs follow you and crowd around the only door making it impossible to leave so your only option is to either start a new file or stop playing the game entirely. I chose to stop playing because I don't want to go back and replay 4 hours and try and remember what decisions I made and recollect all the collectibles I found. It sucks cause I was really getting hooked into the story and was interested in finding out what was happening, but I guess I'll have to wait until there is a fix for this bug.

As much as I want to enjoy this game I just can't, at least not in its current state. It's way too buggy and is stuttering like crazy and I had to task manager it mid way through the first real mission of the game. I pre-ordered the tower edition of the first game and played through it multiple times and once this dlc was announced i played through the base game a few mkre times. I absolutely love the first game and it makes me so sad that this stupidly over priced dlc is nothing more than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, unfinished, and rushed out quest port. Companies have to stop selling poor quest and psvr ports to the pc players and go with the smarter option of making a pcvr game and down sizing it for quest and psvr. Even if you have an exclusivity deal it'll end and you'll be able to put out a quality product for the pc market rather than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "upscaled" port (this game and borderlands 2 vr as examples). Do I recommend this game? No, not in its current state

As a portal fanatic I can without a doubt say that this game is breathtaking. The story is amazing with a twist that actually made me gasp and say "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥".

I love this game to death. I might even say its my favorite VR game. I played it on my HTC Vive and loved it. My one complaint is that when I upugraded to an Index the game didnt have Index support.

I havent played a single Half Life game before this one but I can without a doubt say that this is by far the most visual appealing VR game out there. The gameplay is so much fun and the enemies are actually scary at times. 10/10

This has to be one of my favorite VR games to date. The bladed weapons feel amading and its so much fun to grab a walker and brain them. The guns feel great, though the pistols dont feel as good as the 2 handed guns mainly Im still used to Boneworks guns. The story, while it isnt the best in the world, is still fun. Overall I would give this game a 9/10

I love this game with all my heart. the gameplay is amazing and the level design is superb. there are just 3 main problems. 1: You have to restart the level you are on if you log off or the game crashes for some reason. there are no checkpoints or mid level save points. 2: when you die, the weapons you are holding disappears, you keep everything in your inventory but whatever your holding just goes poof. 3: the controls on the vive arent the best and some more customization for them would be fantastic. Overall I would still give the game a solid 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone who owns a VR headset

I havent gotten a chance to play borderlands 2 so when i heard the vr version was coming to steam I bought it instantly and I love the game. just a few minor problems.

1: when I load up the game it disregards where I logged off and puts me back at the stars of the level without being able to fast travel. all my progress is saved but its just a hassle to have to walk back to where I was and have to deal with the enemies along the way

2: there arent many control configurations. My vive controller touch pads are not working correctly when i click them (not the games fault) and when trying to swap weapons or steer my car it doesnt always respond. It would be nice if i could map a button to an action to do those things

TLDR: fix the spawning when entering the game and add custom control options

this is a fantastic escape room game. just wish there were modles for your hands though

There is potential for this game but at the moment its not worth the buy
