It's not as good of a story as bioshock 1, nor is its DLC. But the moment to moment gameplay I found to be a lot more fun than the first game's. The setting and everything felt kind of tired since the first game already explored Rapture, but overall I'd recommend it, there's nothing "wrong" with it and if you enjoyed the worldbuilding/lore of Bioshock 1 then this is definitely going to be something you love.

This was one of the best detective games I've ever played. Fun to play with a friend over discord or in person, very escape room-esque. If I may leave you with one quote, it would be "Och no!". Happy mystery solving!

Probably my favorite star wars game! It's a bit janky, and definitely feels easier than any souls like game, but it's got a ton going for it. Great story, great gameplay (mix of uncharted set pieces and a bit more linear dark souls exploration), and great music/presentation. Seriously so awesome, highly recommend if you're a star wars fan. The story gets amazing in the back half

My friend and I had a blast with this! He made the decisions, I pressed the buttons, and it was a great time from start to finish. There are a lot of different endings in this game, unlike a Telltale story, so there's a lot of replay value - and also if you are too lazy to replay it, we definitely got what is probably one of the worst endings, and it was still really solid and satisfying! Definitely worth a buy, even at full price would be worth it imo if you like cinematic games that have narrative choices!

If you are like me, and you want meaningful progression, this game isn't for you. The game isn't bad, and I hesitated to hit the "don't recommend" button, but there's no "mixed" review option.

The main issue with the game that my friend and I had is that the game is quite barren. The general gameplay loop can be summed up as "go to a planet, mine resources, build equipment, mine more to get better stuff".

There's very rarely enemies that are challenging except the "sentinel robots" that guard quest objectives, and they are almost unfairly difficult for starter players - you need to craft better gear first...which once again means you need to...grind. Aside from these robots, most creatures you encounter are docile to a fault. In a game like minecraft, there are enemies at night to make the survival aspect interesting. Here, you can either deal with pretty much zero interesting opposition to your survival - or switch to survival mode which really just ups the grind to be labeled as "difficulty". Also, regardless of difficulty mode, the game puts mobile game timers on some quests. Why?? There's not even microtransactions - the game just tells you to do a different quest for the next 1-2 hours and you have no way of proceeding besides waiting it out. Kind of a minor complaint because there's still other stuff to do in the mean time, but it feels pointless to include stuff like that.

The planets also feel samey once you've played for around ten hours. Also the NPCs never have anything interesting to say, and the quests don't have any semblance of interesting story to them either, even the main quest. Sure there's definitely a few interesting locations but the majority of my game time felt like a slog after the first couple planets. I would ask you, "Do you want to spend 2 hours of playtime breaking down plants/rocks for resources to craft renewable energy sources before your next objective takes you to a mile-wide-inch-deep cool new planet?" This sounds harsh, but what I mean is that the game is deceptively not so much about survival and exploration as it is about base building and grinding.

I mentioned earlier that I played with a friend, and I should add if you're looking for a good coop experience, this game...kind of is? It's got great multiplayer integration sure, but the quest objectives are tied to a single player, so when your friend builds a base, that doesn't mean you're done with that quest. Nope, you've got to (independently) grind for the parts yourself, making it feel like it could just be singleplayer anyway. Also, the anomaly quests are unlocked about 3-4 hours into a game, and those are truly built around being done with other players. However, even these quests are just "go to place, destroy 5 objects, don't die to sentinel robots" and they don't feel very rewarding, since your reward is just more parts to help you with the grind.

I don't think this is a bad game, but it's just not for players like me. I ultimately went with a downvote after noticing the sea of positive reviews from people who describe this as a great co-op game. In my opinion, if you want a good online co-op campaign, look elsewhere - such as Divinity 2, It Takes Two, etc. But if you're interested in base building games and don't mind the moment to moment tedium that comes with it, you may find the same enjoyment that the tons of other positive reviewers found. At least the photo mode was awesome.

Also I dug a hole in the ground, buried myself away from enemies, and had robots still kill me with no line of sight at all 10/10 :')

It's good for aim training. Can't speak to aim labs but I enjoy the community courses

I didn't like it as much as Dishonored 2, but it was better than Dishonored 1. Also it has arguably the best story, but that's pretty obvious since the story is about her and Daud (best characters btw)

Early Access Review
I suck really bad at this game but the systems driven gameplay is insanely fun. Give it a go even if you're not into roguelikes because it really gives you a sense of wonder and discovery as you learn how things work.

It's a dollar, good to play when you're dead in a battle royale
