Not only are the controls awful (at least with the Index controllers), I keep getting stuck in objects and unable to move. At one point I got so stuck in a wall that I had to glitch outside through it and walk back in since the game would not let me move back into the room I was standing in.

I find this game to be much more enjoyable than Two Point Hospital.

This is an incredibly well made remake of the original game. The controls are probably the best I have seen of any PC game (which is quite incredible considering this is a console port), and the graphics are excellent. I did not experience any performance issues playing at 4K with solid 60FPS, although I do have quite a modern system (i5-13600K, RTX 4080).

The only part of the game that feels a bit dated is the level design. It is clearly designed around restricting sight lines to limit the amount of visible terrain, which is a bit frustrating in the outdoor sections of the game. This is most noticable after exiting the sewers, where you are met with an overgrown path surrounded by two walls of trees on either side, which used to be a popular design trick, but has since fallen out of favor. However, this is not something that can be easily fixed with a remake, as then you would have people complain that it is not close enough to the original game.

Running at 2560x1080 on a 2070 Max-Q. On High preset (that is the lowest) it runs at 5 FPS. Changing DLSS to Ultra Performance it runs at 20-30 FPS, but looks worse than YouTube at 144p unless you sit still and wait a few seconds for rendering to catch up. If you don't move, you can see some reflections (especially on glass) and they are neat, but certainly not worth the performance requirements.

This game has definitely survived the test of time. Awesome jokes. Great attention to detail. Beautiful shadows. Surprising story.

I love playing it again even though it's a puzzle game and I've already finished it many times.

There is also a built-in easy to use level editor, but levels can also be easily made in Hammer.

If only Valve decided to ever release another game... :(

Yes! It is surprising something so well made is available for free! The begining alone left me feeling like it might even be better than Portal 2. (I didn't even get to the firs test, and I already wish I had paid the authors for this.
