REVIEW : PATH OF EXILE 2
ACHIEVEMENTS : N/A
SCORE : 8/10

This is not an ordinary review. This opinion will change in the future / may not be the final version, but as it currently stands this is how I feel about the game.

“Why did you give this game a negative rating even though it’s a 8/10 for you?”

Before we begin with anything, I am making an assumption that we all know what PoE is, we all know what PoE2 is and how it’s different, we all know what an end-game clearing build looks like, we all have our own ways of playing the game. Most of all, we all know that knowledge is power and will carry you further than anything else in the land of PoE.

My reasoning for giving this a negative review overall despite the score, is what they have messed up on. They do a great job with Boss fights, Hell most of the combat feels good once you get something going, the aesthetic of areas / UI, and a couple of other things. They are making one of the best ARPG’s out there and at times it really feels like it too. But ehh... that's all i have to say that's nice.

Context ; not a hardcore PoE player , im as casual as you’re going to get in PoE period. I try hard to make my own builds / my own way through this game. I played a lot of PoE1 and had a lot of growing pains. I get into PoE2 thinking it will not be easier, but different enough for me to give it a real shot. First half of my gametime, I was having a blast! You couldn’t get me off the game. Now, I'm in endgame with some patch changes. Didn’t affect me too much build wise, but everything else..?

I don’t know what is up with the balance of this game, or am I just really not good enough to play this game?

I have a LVL 82 SSF Ranger, I've spent over 100+ hours now, STUCK. At this level, here is my life:

>Login to my LVL 82. Ranger (Near full Res w/ 1.5K health and 90% evade. Textbook Ranger build.)
>Still stuck at Tier 10 maps
>”Okay let's warm up with some T9’s or T’8’s to play it safe, then i’ll jump into T10’s “
> I have 40% of my xp bar
> T8 I breeze through, destroy the boss. Easiest thing ever, done it a thousand times.
> T9 was a fight but still easy. Almost got 1 shot.
>”Okay let's try to get to 83 today, i'm feeling good!”
> T9’s are getting super slow on XP, ‘im feeling brave today.’
> Load’s up T10, I step in ready to blast.
> Takes a couple paces forward, shoot and clear the eni-
> Get’s one-shot off screen with a spell by an enemy.
> Now is at 30~%
>”Alright, I must've not seen it, I'll try again. My bad.”
> some minutes go by, I'm clearing it like a T8. I’m fi-
> Literally happens again. Even worse this time. I was just moving to the next pack.
> I logged off and went to play something else. “I’ll just get on tomorrow.”
> Insanity. Start from the top again. And that has been my time with this game.

If i’m not being one shot off screen, im being spammed into a freeze and getting gangbanged.
If i'm not being frozen, i'm stuck in an AOE I know I won't have enough time to get out of.
If I’m not being AoE’s by a Boss / Elite, then some random white mob will do it magically from the packs they are in. They stun me, then I’m dead.

If you think it’s my gear, then please tell me how you get better gear in SSF without gambling resources / finding it on the ground. I STILL use some of my gear from level 60 because I genuinely haven't found anything better. Nothing has improved in 0.2 gearwise.
If you think it’s not enough HP, how do I get more of it without gear?
If you think it’s not enough Res, is %75 cold %75 lightning % 70 fire %48 chaos not good enough?
If you think I should re-roll / look up a build, then just stop. I don’t play these games for my hand to be held by some guy who tells me what to do. I like making my own thing, I don’t like taking after builds (META or not idc) because that’s the fun for games like this with me.
If you think it’s because I didn't roll correctly, then you may be right.

But it doesn't excuse all the bullsh!t I’ve had to deal with when it comes to this game. If you think I'm playing the game wrong, tell me straight up. Because I love this game but im really F^CK!NG tired of what I've had to deal with and I KNOW I'm not alone. So for now i’m leaving this and i’ll come back when some things have changed, but as it stands right now I’m not logging in to do this anymore.

And just to think I haven't even mentioned like 50+ other things I hear about that are wrong, and maybe even more that I haven't even learned about yet…

GGG needs to fix this mess they made, because they have something amazing here. I want this game to be great, I really do. But I can’t bring myself to play this and feel like I'm wasting my time over and over again.

REVIEW : WARHAMMER: VERMINTIDE END TIMES
ACHIEVEMENTS : 55/108 (51%) (5 DLC packs containing 37 achievements)
SCORE : 7 / 10

DISCLAIMER - Don’t be shy, this series is a great introduction into Warhammer.
This is its own little part of the mass world of Warhammer Fantasy that has to offer.
After all, I personally started on the Vermintide series myself. :D

” Vermintide : End Times has the blood of the L4D2 formula taken into the End Times estetic. A Dark, Gorey, But exhilaratingly in depth melee co-op combat, going along with weapons to learn and a band of heros with all unique charms and personalities that leave you questioning for more. Simply one of the most unique co op titles, that still feels familiar in ways”

This was the first game i played on my xbox when i got it, happened to be one of the free games of the month, mind you this was 2016 with the game being out a year already. Soon after I fell in love, I played about 250~ hours with a group of friends I found on the way. This really filled my itch for a co-op title that I loved and missed from L4D2 for years. I got this on PC just to relive the levels and compare the two titles. But enough reconciliation of memories.
This review will mainly go over how Verm 2 compares to Verm 1, and see if you think that it would be worth it. Because I will tell you, Verm 2 is more bang for your buck compared to this.

So simply if you’re new to Vermintide as a whole, go look at Vermintide 2 as that is a more fitting and up-to-date content and material there plus there are always games going compared to the boneyard count of players in this game.

Let's get this show on the road... shall we, lumberfoots? (...the only time I will ever say that.)

GAMEPLAY LOOP

So, this will be your content and general progression.
A 13 base level campaign that takes you around Helmgart, the city you’re fending off the Skaven from. A vile nasty rodent-humanoid race that demolishes and spreads like fire. A beyond mad science project gone horribly wrong you could easily argue on first glance.

3 DLCS (Drachenfels, Karak, Stromdorff) totalling up to 8 additional campaign levels. Further pursuits going into foriegn lands and new problems from the End Times arise.

1 base map and 1 DLC map based for the Horde / Survival type modes. Easy way to chill and make good resources.

May not seem like a lot but, the progression of the game is NOT on doing all levels and boom done. There are mechanics and RPG touches to each class that make weapons have traits, you can carry trinkets for passive bonuses and are not restricted to categories unlike Verm 2. You could make it so you can take a medkit, heal someone, you get 80% of the healing, you have a 33% chance to keep it and have the healing you do on yourself clears others wounds and heal them for a little. Of course that's all your 3 slots but you have a certified healing build. You kinda get the idea from there. There is no stat that says vs. Skaven, the only stat is really how much the effect will be kinda stuff. And that goes for all the traits that go on your weapons and trinkets.

Example for Verm 2 players would be: Getting a melee weapon that has Parry, Swift Slaying and Opportunist, and just rolling to basically improve their effectiveness. I loved this method of making weapons because some factors and rules are different and in my opinion way more fun. In Verm 2 you increase your ammo by class or passives, you do it through traits in Verm1 as it has no abilities or passives to choose. Shields were way more useful and weapons feel truly powerful in choice decisions as it is what makes your ‘role’ so to speak of what you’re trying to do. Melt hordes, be a hunter for specials, or be the Stormvermin bully, anything you can put your focus too you can do it, just know your characters weapons of choice.
Simply put, you chose your character for the weapons and personality is all. And the rest is equipment and weapons for the class. Simple :D

TIP - There is a curse resist trinket, be on the hunt for it. It will help you more than any other one.

The biggest issue with Verm 1 is easily how you get your late game weapons. And the progression to get through higher difficulties is more RNG than it really needs to be, because instead of a chest alikes to verm 2 that gives many chances for the RNG to progress for you, you get a ONE roll, AND ONE ITEM PER LEVEL. This was a huge hindrance, as it makes players comb over the levels with still ok / ♥♥♥♥ gear that sometimes isn't for your class, or sometimes you keep getting the same thing. Then soon after you realize the grind, which compared to other games is not so rewarding in a lot of regards and is the biggest blow that sours that road to get everything you want. Once you’re there, you can really feel the combat take a 2.0 Type feel with all the buffs and damage differences with higher difficulties as you can now do them better

BUT easily the best feature of the game is arguably the method that combats this problem the game has, the Bounty Board. This system is not the best but is the means to continue playing the game and a motivator to get on everyday. The bounty board serves as your daily quest giver and better, contracts. This is how you get your cosmetics and REALLY dope weapons. Say you see a Red Weapon, you can work on that contract and boom, red weapon. You can see all the traits/buffs of it to see if you like it. They require key bounty completions and you can only keep one at a time and will take about a week roughly (Ouch…) nonetheless its a method of progression, maybe more unintentional stalling but the bounties are rewarding too, bounties are sometimes a challenge or aspect, say not getting hit from specials or bringing a Grim to the end of the mission/Killing a rat ogre etc… Usually you go for the ones that have the keys, but they can give you BUFFS (DMG increase, stagger increase, extra Stamina, etc. made to give you more of a fighting chance in harder missions, so plan good and time your buffs well, also you will get materials to further tune / make weapons with. Easily the best thing missing from Verm 2, sure we have the challenge book and shillings, but this is better in my opinion, because it was more flavorful and with some innovation i think this would work beautifully in Verm 2 and easily my #1 personal request from fatshark, Make deeds be more of value in this manner too…?

I will not dwell into the Warhammer aspects and respects of this game, as the review is honestly long enough already. For the sake of this I will leave this out of the review and I'm going straight into the Specs. Just know the devs spend their sweet a** time enjoying the world too much on making things right as they can be in their titles. Take that as you will. \

Also, Lore pages are spread through every mission, they give good XP if you never read them, but they are an excellent and very welcome edition to the game. You can learn pretty much everything about the world you fight in piece by piece with drawings and reasons to questions you have. For why Bardin looks for the Karak Zorn, where Kerillian comes from and where you travel too from the history to now… all these things you ponder? The only answer lies in the pages.

** REVIEW WAS TOO LONG FOR SYSTEMS CHECK **

This is honestly a forgotten game, just collecting dust and I write this not for me, but for any player of the series who is looking for more. As some of the levels are truly better in my opinion than most Verm 2 offers in content.

Overall, I just hope you enjoy your time in this game, it is good if you already love Vermintide, seriously if you are a fan wanting more and you have a band of friends, dive straight in. But don't be shy if you don’t like the differences, its age shows but its charming in a way.

REVIEW : COD : MODERN WARFARE 3
ACHIEVEMENTS : 76 / 76 **(26 of DLC Spec ops based)**
SCORE : 7 / 10

special mention to S A G E, as he helped tremendously and played through all of the spec ops content with me. Great times bro, spam the wall. <3

Underdog of the franchise, a lot oversee this entree as a burnout staple of the franchise. They are right in ways, but this was the end all of modern warfare, making its mark to be the most broad in design and unique content to surface for MW in this past golden era of Call of Duty… Being a very close giant to Black ops 1. Maybe 2 depending on who you ask.

This is such a skippable entry. . . So why bother?

*WARNING. DLC 1, DLC 2 & DLC 3 ARE REQUIRED FOR 100% W/ A CO-OP PARTNER FOR ACHIEVEMENTS*

I could only advise this to people who have played the games and are genuinely wanting to see what a true now overpriced, but SUPER underappreciated COD for what it was. At the time it was just so overused, having so many modern military shooters through all the years of PS3/360. Otherwise it is the last of the title Modern Warfare and if you want to see the end? You won't be disappointed.
PLEASE get this on a sale, it's not worth THAT much... But it is worth your time if you enjoy COD content already.

Let's get this going shall we?

How does it feel on Veteran? <<Hardest difficulty>>

Nothing crazy, just remember what you’re about to jump into and be patient most of all. Though the least BS when it comes to mission design, only a handful of times Veteran was not fun at all. That’s nothing compared to say WAW or Black Ops 1 / 2. Sometimes you just don't even anymore.

GAMEPLAY LOOP

Your Content is this;
You’re wrapping up the story, a 16 mission, 3 Act long campaign. Where you’re having to save Soap from what Gen.Shepherd did in MW2. Most of all, WW3 was officially declared. You unfold through the events of Makarov making mass terrorist actions and gaslighting the whole conflict all to where it ends hanging, to be continued…
Single Player Missions to be wary of hard times ahead;
Hunter Killer
Persona Non Grata
Back on the Grid
Return to Sender

Spec ops again, but with 3 MODES.
Survival ; ANY multiplayer map you can choose from and fight hordes of invading forces and there are plenty of replayable mentions that are a blast! Later on it gets ridiculous, easily throwing 5~6 Juggs with 2 choppers depending on map difficulty .\

Spec Ops ; A 16 base / 8 DLC based Missions. You already know this rodeo, bring a friend and have a blast doing them all. Only a little bit better than Mw2 Spec Ops but arguably what is worth your investment and it’s the best part of Mw3 nowadays.

Spec Ops Missions to be wary of REALLY hard times ahead.
Over Reactor
Hit and Run
Fatal extraction
Little Bros
Smack Town
Fire Mission
Negotiator The amount of times that we had got stuck in that house...
Kill Switch

Chaos ; a mode where you can feel what it’s like to be the inner tryhard inside just go XxMLGxXTRY-HARDX420_DANKSC0PER-_XXY0URMUM_MYFAC3XX_-
only for 5 or more minutes at a time per match. You get so many buffs and guns, it's truly the most octane and the most brutally serial experience you can get in your time playing this mode.

**MULTIPLAYER IS ILL-ADVISED. I WILL NOT COVER IT BUT A BRIEF MENTION**
back in the day, this was the only COD I had reached master prestige (10 at the time), the only COD where I’ve done everything. Quickscoped, Grinded the Perks, you’d know if you were there simply put, IMO the best multiplayer that was out there for COD. Maps could’ve been a bit better, specialist was a little too good, otherwise, this was the best time for Multiplayer for me. When I look through some of the maps, sure I have all these memories and cherishing moments and the best of my skill when I had the time and was 12-13.

And all you see is a ghost town. A lifeless map left in a Hollow place, by yourself.

One thing I'm only going to dive into about MW3 multiplayer, was this game was the origins of Infected being an official game mode, Face Off being the first inventions of 1v1/2v2/3v3 game modes, later to be brought back in a redefined light. The Class system being the last of the classic ; 3 perk set up with a full loadout gameplay where we sharply or broadly focus on playstyles. The first to add support and specialist type of killstreaks, making a first in alternative set options for the choice of the player. Seems like this game really was a huge feat in trying new things to only be back in later instalments in the franchise… only in peices.
… just me?

SYSTEMS CHECK

This isn't hard to run at all. Maybe your graphics could blunt most of the enhanced visuals but overall it is a good looking game still with still up to date resolutions scaling, rebinding keys, and advanced options to tweak particular graphic options. Very much alikes to the previous instalment MW2.

In all, this to me is just filled to the brim of ; my childhood. I will cherish this game no matter how disgusting the name is today, Call of Duty. No matter what, I will never forget all the Advertisements, the true excitement of playing after school, before school, the weeknd and breaktime grind was REAL. and I loved about 95% of it, I loved this game so much. But I am an honest Critic, and I respect the opinion of how washed down or uninspired this game feels…
I agree.
But nothing can really replace nostalgia. It’s there forever.

TIP - There are methods to increase your FOV in the game. Either from downloading CoD SCZ FOV changer (what i use) or something else. Maybe in the files directly even? Idk.

REVIEW : COD : MODERN WARFARE 2
ACHIEVEMENTS : 50 / 50 (100%)
SCORE :Of the times - 9/10 nowadays... - 8/10

The game that truly brought the spirit of many fans to the series, one of the golden age era gems that still hold up to this day (in 2021). Despite the brand name it holds, it’s a relic of the times when they cared about their work.... to another whole level than what it is today.

**MULTIPLAYER IS ILL-ADVISED UNLESS YOU HAVE PEOPLE. I DIDN’T**mhm…
… Why should I even get this? Is it even worth giving them more money?
I know, this is a COD game. But understand there is truly something good here in store when you buy this. if you’re down for a good FPS, simple but a very fun and enjoyable experience. Sometimes mindless, tbh.
But this is where the series was booming. Where the writing and intention was good, the multiplayer was ballistic. It’s Something Memorable.

Now, let's get on with this shall we?

GAMEPLAY LOOP

So, first your content.
A 17 mission / 4 Act long campaign going over the events leading to all out WW3.
A Spec Ops mode, totalling in 23 varied and some challenging missions. (21 for solo)
^^ All can be done in co-op with one buddy :D

From that, the gameplay is very simple. You shoot guys / do objectives, Do a thing, run somewhere, kill more stuff maybe and mission is done. It all depends on what you’re thrown into but overall you’re a seriously skilled soldier with some insane aim and strength.

How does it feel on Veteran? <<Hardest difficulty>>

Really not that bad compared to others. Sometimes you have ‘the bullsh`t’ that veteran does with its checkpoints and spawn traps sometimes. Just be careful. You have to slow down your typical gameplay to pick off targets and have to be efficient at it sometimes.
Single Player Missions to be wary of hard times ahead;
Takedown
Hornets Nest
Exodus
Of Their Own Accord
Contingency
Loose Ends

Spec Ops Missions to be wary of REALLY hard times ahead.
Overwatch
Homeland Security
Snatch & Grab
Wardriving
Terminal
High Explosive spam the wall… i’ll never forget it.

There is 45 total intel in the simple player that sadly doesn't further add depth to the game unlike others, no cheats, no lore nothing. Just another “hey you got it” collectable of sorts.

PERSONALITY OF THE WORLD

At the time, this was an amazing feat in how detailed things were getting! The Budget for this game was enormous for one factor being - the engine used for making most if not all the assets of making the guns feel as tight and crisper than most models / animations being made today. How they’ve made a timeless classic, almost to the alikes to VALVE standards in some regards to how they made their weapons and environments of engagement.

When it comes to the personality of your comrades in your single player campaign, it is what makes you be in the moment. They’re the reason you keep on fighting, being the voice of the player to keep going, to finalize / initiate the reason that is ordering you to do something. And they do this almost so naturally in a way where the player is always involved. But not totally being the savior of the world. You just do badass sh`t.

The soundtrack still holds a lot of pieces up, my favorite being the one in “The Enemy of my Enemy. ” and making most of the moments feel right and hits the right notes for me personally.

The story? Not going to bother. It’s either I give it all in or not. I’m choosing not to, I'm sorry. Understand it is amazing and if you decide to get this it is definitely worth your time. Plus this review is long enough as it is.

Overall, a beautiful job on showing a real care on how things feel, look, etc. they do it all right here in my eyes for what is a call of duty game.

SYSTEMS CHECK

This isn't hard to run at all. Maybe your graphics could blunt most of the enhanced visuals but overall it is a good looking game still with still up to date resolutions scaling, rebinding keys, and advanced options to tweak particular graphic options. Compared to older cod games, this is one of the better ones in that regard. Only in a lot of smoke did I really come across any huge lag spikes at any time or had a lot of explosions shortly together.

Overall though it shouldn't be terribly hard to run by any means. But it can eat your graphics card if it wants too tbh.

TIP - There are methods to increase your FOV in the game. Either from downloading CoD SCZ FOV changer (what i use) or something else. Maybe in the files directly even? Idk.

This is where it all started for me. I was in these lobbies back in the day long ago...
My first online game I’ve officially played on the PS3. 2010.
And I feel in love. Hours turned into days,
Now I wasn't addicted, I just really enjoyed myself with it at the time.
Until I joined a clan, I began to learn quickscoping.
The drives to now 1 v 1
The laughs i’ve had, The friends i made outside of school,
Oh how I still remember the names even to this day...
And to go from a trash 9 year old kid who sucked,
To a 20 year old, writing this review on something I deeply care about.
And I wouldn't have probably met any of the people I would’ve never met if it weren't for this game. That’s why it was hard for me to put it down fully.
For that, you have my thanks.
No matter what anyone thinks of what this is.
I will keep this here in remembrance to everyone I've known in this game.
As, it is something only my childhood holds dearly. One of the few that I deeply cherish.
Only so few of you would understand.
Right?

REVIEW : WARHAMMER: CHAOSBANE
ACHIEVEMENTS : 43 / 43 (100%)
SCORE : 6/10

This game is if Diablo 3 had no expansion, was the first game of the studio and just threw a fine and well Warhammer coat of paint on it. This is by all means a good Warhammer RPG game, but this is no true Hardcore RPG experince alikes to POE or GD

… why should I even get this?

If you’re REALLY having a diablo itch and nothings doing it for ya, this will probably be a very good time for you. This is not a hard game with really not a whole lot of setting up to do with builds or complications with how things really work. This is a great introduction to the Diablo-Like Top Down RPGS for a basic, repetitive but overall fun experience

GAMEPLAY LOOP

One word ; REPETITIVE… But the grind is there.
I’ve said that a lot, as a lot of the enemies you face are relatively the same throughout most of your ventures. Some just wear different colors for different Acts in the game, most corridors seemed copied and pasted just angled differently all the time. Most RPGS have the same thing but it’s very noticeable in this one with how repetitive it feels to go over areas and relic maps again and again.

The REAL joy as mentioned earlier is making builds work. Taking a set in the game, and seeing what you can do with it and see if you like it. You progress from there to farm the right items, see what works and doesn't, the whole RPG Fix is here for that.
It's a very special treat for warhammer fans, as you basically play top tier ranks of each faction having powers of their gods blessed upon themselves.

Also, the Boss’s in this game are either hit, or miss. It depends on how you engage and who you picked. After playing all the characters all through the content with a relatively aggressive playstyle, each one had a different take on struggles and breezeovers with all the boss’s I fought through the campaign. If you can take away anything, just be mindful that one is not superior to all types of styles.

if you can get over ALL the repetitiveness this game throws at you, you will find this to be a great experience overall if you REALLY give this a shot.

Speaking about Warhammer…

PERSONALITY OF THE WORLD

IM SAVING YOUR TIME RIGHT NOW. THE STORY IS HORRID. IGNORE IT.
IF YOU'RE HERE FOR THAT, THIS ONE IS NOT FOR YOU CHIEF.

With this estitc, most areas look beautiful and very distinct in their design and attention to details. The best enemies to fight are the champions, the real changers of each engagement with each act and they are made with great care but sometimes can feel unbalanced. But to me it just makes the incentive to better your build more to handle/overcome that challenge.

The Voice acting..? The most hit or miss I’ve seen in a WHILE. Some are seriously dead on, such as Teclis being the reason and manners of responsibility in each conversation. (Which is WASTED ON THIS TRASH OF A STORY) The Slayer Bragi does follow up as well. But some like the Woodelf are just off… really off.

The Soundtrack was the same as the voice acting, some areas were perfect for the tone. while sometimes it's just weak and doesn't get the pace going for the moment.

Overall the Warhammer: End Times Tone is set here and it's a very well done job for the most part to the sounds and the areas you traverse.
Despite the voice acting on some parts, some of the soundtracks being weak and don't pay attention to the story... At the end of the day, it was a good representation.

SYSTEMS CHECK

This game is pretty ok on everything when it comes to your settings. Accessibility is nice but some like zoom in/out cameras are out and used to be a lot worse but they really hit the quality of life material over the patches they’ve made on this game.

Graphics only appear shotty when you see numbers dance across your screen like a carousel and everything going on to make them appear. Besides that most of the time this game is very manageable. I have 2016~ hardware and still run it near max with very minimal FPS fallouts. Only when the game is TRULY going crazy is whenI get huge drops on FPS Drops. A good i5, a GTX 1060 with 8GB RAM is really all you need for a good time with this game.

REVIEW : VERMINTIDE 2
ACHIEVEMENTS : 26/26 (100%)
SCORE : 9 / 10

DISCLAIMER - Don’t be shy, this series is a great introduction into Warhammer.
This is its own little part of the mass world of Warhammer Fantasy that has to offer.
After all, I personally started on the Vermintide series myself. :D

”The predecessor of the first, Vermintide 2 comes bigger, bolder, and mightier than the first entry of the series. Taking the same band of heroes and adding class abilities and more dynamic weapon arts / moves and of course more threats. A more polished, redefined and exciting re-entry of the unique brutal Warhamemr title. If you love co-op titles alikes to L4D2, DRG or KF2, this is a MUST TRY. As this game brings a striking style unlike any other of its kind among the Co-op genre. This is a very daring and exciting game to not only learn, but a mountain to master. If you ever so dare to face such savagery.”

For nearly 3 years I’ve been on and off with this game, for many reasons of its own personal abode. Nonetheless, this is a very fun title for ones who love a high paced game and making strategies and building a playstyle, further tuning a class to what you want it to become. Facing an ever growing challenge with the series of good, and arguably bad content of the game. A seriously dynamic and chaotically fun combat system that is easy to do but hard to master. So many combos, ins and outs and finding ways to speed run levels for the sake of it.
Either way, I've met some very good friends over the years on this game and that’s why i’ve sunk in this much time really. Safe to say though I don’t enjoy this much anymore personally, I know this is from Burnout, there is only so high of play you care to get to and so many personal goals to achieve where eventually it wears off on you. I’m simply writing this as a farewell moreless my thoughts of this game, as a means to put this on the shelf to not pick up for a long time or for a while at least.

Let's just get this show on the road... shall we, lumberfoots? (ok really the last time.)

GAMEPLAY LOOP

So, this will be your content and general progression.

The main game has 13 missions, divided into 3 acts that make a conquest against the now joined forces of Nurgle Chaos Men in making a portal from the literal Realms of Chaos, and not only them but the beastmen later walk among the chaos forces.

3 Paid Expansions,2 Free ones and DLC classes (Just buy them all for the weapons that they have, they usually are more fun / useful overall in ways) once again further taking the band of heroes through trials and more daring and accursed adventures.

Chaos Wastes, Winds of Magic & Fortunes of War being Extra add ons to the experience of Vermintide for the seasoned and experienced players who want even more from the base game.

Weekly modes and twitch Mode, Workshop Mods and more wacky alternatives to the whole experience of what you could do in Vermintide 2

From the first entry, Verm 2 is definitely what you would say as the breath of fresh air the first game needed, as that was just the basics. Now we go into more in depth ideas and the difficulty of this game and all that it throws at you. There is a lot more to your basic combat, not only 1 race but 3 to fight and learn, you can't fight beastmen like how you fight a skaven, a handful of varied monsters & not just rat ogres. Classes, abilities and passives to play into effect. How all the weapons now have a general-full-pool of moves, unlike just a few select weapons in Verm 1.

What could I say, Bigger, Bolder & Mightier. The progression is very good IMO, could be exploited if you save a whole bunch of good champion chests for max level then shoot your power level up so fast. Either way if you grind through it or not, you will get your stuff at a reasonable pace unlike if you’re me and roll snake eyes every toss. From each mission you get a few pieces of gear and usually one is at least a little higher than the one you have. Nonetheless, it is easier than Verm 1 ‘s Progression system and how slow it feels to get one item, instead of 3 from chests.

EASILY my favorite part of this game is how your role / class really puts together what you want to be in your team. Instead of just your weapons of choice and what you do….
you yourself are the weapon now. You only use instruments to aid your slaughter and domination of the end times.
This is by far the best move they made for developing this game, having characters go into various units / factions of their race to make various classes to choose from. A wood elf archer, or a dark elf stabby boi? Hold as an Iron Breaker, or Leap as Slayer headfirst! What if you don't want ranged weapons at all and think it's for puss*es? Look no further than Grail Knight!
There is no ‘your character is one way and you’re going to like it.’ There is so much to change and customise, tweak and make memes or metas of strategies with other classes or yourself.

Your equipment for these classes do matter as they help you deal damage more effectively / survive better. So your choice of what to bring into battle is as important as a passive skill selection which can be moved around of course with no cost. But still, choose carefully.

!!Be aware not everything will work on Legend and beyond. As most games are with difficulty.!!

**TIP - ALWAYS get Dmg. V Chaos, it affects beastmen and chaos, then skaven dies easy enough already.**

Also, Art pages are spread through every mission, they serve to be extra challenges and arguable bragging rights. They are an excellent and very welcome edition to the game.

SYSTEMS CHECK

Looking through the options available there is a healthy amount you can adjust with this game. Moreso it’s easy to not know what something is, so many options that are not normally in most PC games. Like some eye tracking stuff even?

But… Alright. So, I don’t want to be Biased but, i’ve had a serious B*tch of a time with this game in regards to Performance, internet, textures… Most of all is how much of the LEVEL OF BUGS AND CRASHES I'VE HAD OVER THE YEARS FROM COUNTLESS OF REASONS.
I could go on. But it looks gorgeous and does an amazing job with shaders and how you can adjust the LOOK of how things are, but once again… There has to be something about the engine. Or something with it’s performance. It suffers the same issue with real performance on downgrading to run better kinds of stuff…

I’ve always had some graphical, audio, online and game breaking material… All this has tainted or shadowed my time playing this game. If it were to run and perform better and not have so many hiccups with the game, or better yet a good reason as to why even with my relatively New Pc.

Otherwise, if you have the hardware and love a good time with most Co-op material, not going to lie to you son you’re going to feel like home killing rats and chaosmen… and maybe something new will alight in interest for more questions and results.

If you’ve made it this far;
