This is the first Far Cry game I have ever played and just finished my first ever playthrough right before the end of 2021.

As someone who grew up spoiled by more noob friendly shooters and much more modern game mechanics and design, this game is undoubtedly challenging. I always try to start off with normal/regular difficulty and even so this game was a non-stop ass being handed to me fest. It really does not hold your hand. Because of this, it quickly became frustrating so it made me feel like it's not recommendable unless you have the utmost patience. But if you do like FPS and just want to say you beat it, go for it─ but don't be afraid to enlist the help of a trainer or mod to make this a lot less excruciating for you.

Buy on sale. You won't regret waiting until the next to get the older Far Cry games.

The most family friendly game I have ever played. Would miss every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shot from 5 inches away again. 10/10
