It pains me to write a review about STALKER 2. I wish I could give it a mixed one.

Being an avid fan of the franchise, I played the STALKER games back when they were released, and I consider them games that defined how I engage with the medium.

Aside from technical issues that could eventually be fixed, STALKER 2 at its core is a AAA made to compete with the likes of Uibsoft and Bethesda games, with a heavy emphasis on its plot and storyline.

GSC made the conscious choice to streamline, or simply failed to recreate, the systems that made the original games unique.
I wish they could have doubled down on the sandbox elements and let the player create their own story in the zone, while still offering a nice story.

I still give it a positive review, because STALKER 2 is far from being a bad game and kudos to the team for releasing it after such a troubled development.

Sadly, I do think S2 lacks the ambition that made the OG trilogy special. It IS a STALKER game, but it often doesn't feel like one.

I loved Boneworks when it released, even with the jank. It was fresh and had great ideas. Bonelab fails to improve on its predecessor.

I don't see who this game is for, it has marginal improvments from Boneworks, has a weak campaign with a gimmicky avatar-switch poorly implemented in the overall design of the game, and the physics based puzzles are even more infuriating and janky than in Boneworks.

I forced myself to finish it when I gladly came back to Boneworks after having completed it twice. I have absolutely no desire to install some mods for Bonelab.

Nice marriage between a light inventory management/fishing game and a narrative chills inducing experience

Spiritual successor to BF4 which adds mechanics seen in other games, such as Squad and Project Reality. It's still a casual shooter with an extra layer of complexity added to it, which won't be too hard on you if you're familiar with the Battlefield Franchise.

Only downsides of the game are tied to the small size of the studio behind it, being sound design and graphic fidelity.

When it comes down to how the game feels and plays, it's a masterclass and the devs did their homework.

Best BF game in the last decade.

Elden Ring is definitely quantity over quality.

Every other game from the soulsbornes serie is a better overall experience.

And the multiplayer sucks. (God they could have done something way more interesting with it being an open world game)

It's incredible.

Crash Bandicoot was one of my first video games. 20 years ago.

The remaster is perfect, and the PC version is absolutely a blast. It runs smoothly, it's beautiful and it's Crash as we remembered it.

How great it is to remember every level of Crash 1, 2 and 3, still having the same muscle memory I had when I spent hours to master every level when I was still struggling to "get" a videogame.

If you ever played the three games when you were a kid, it's a nostalgia train that will bring you to tears. The remastered graphics, the remastered music and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ same exact gameplay you knew years ago. Yeah, it's worth it.

I can spend minutes listening to the theme menu before starting a game. It's still there in all its glory. Get it.
