you know the genre of survival crafting zombie game, and Zed Zone certainly fits into it. This is more action-forward than Zomboid. Combat roll bullet time, a VATS system from fallout, and a grappling hook all add to the combat focus over the other zombie games in the genre. The crafting system is very fun, with everything in the game world breaking down into components you will use to craft, similar to games like 7 Days to Die.

Still early in its life, the game is great. Its good fun to just find a SUV and ride around from town to town, killing and looting, or completing the main 'objectives' of the game. There's plenty of room for the game to grow and it does need it in some spaces. Base building is very lackluster right now but that is on the roadmap. Multiplayer is on the roadmap as well and will be VERY fun to play with friends. Performance has been getting improved but still needs some work for sure.

Absolutely worth the money already in my opinion, but I'd wait if you want a more complete game or to play multiplayer,
