Buggy as hell - if you can't stomach bugs better wait for full release. Otherwise it's a unique and adorable gem of a game.

What I really like about this game is that it balances robust gameplay systems with a branching narrative-driven story line. We are in space, and spaceships have logic behind them. Nothing too deep, it's not KSP, but still good enough. Some examples:
- depressurizing a room will kill anyone not wearing a spacesuit, duh!
- spacewalk is often an option for going places, if you have a spacesuit;
- you start the game tasked with finding a replacement for a broken engine part - it can be stripped from any working engine, not a 100% scripted quest item you just need to find in a specific place;

I have really enjoyed solving problems via clever usage of game mechanics instead of picking dialogue options given to me by game designers. It's a shame so few games try to do it, but this one does and I love it for that!
Also the vintage dos aesthetic is a blast <3 <3 <3
