It's DOOM. Except, this one won't run on a pregnancy test

I don't understand why this game is hated so hard by Devil May Cry community. Well yeah, Dante is different in the reboot. That is what a reboot is all about. I personally think, that the story and lore of the reboot are definitely not as good as in the other games, but it is still far from bad, and the gameplay very fun. The gameplay is still easy to learn, hard to master. The soundtrack is great, and it has a few excellent bossfights.

I think the game got to much hate from the DmC community, and should be played by more people.

Best fast paced arcade shooter gameplay i've seen in a long time. I would like a game with that gameplay in full length instead of this demo or whatever it supposed to be. If it realy would be a demo, i'd somehow understand it, but reading throughh the reviews of the successor, it sill is just as short and storywise confusing, so i am dissappointed.

Just giving a good review because i like the gameplay. If you want good story or something with replay value (other than great gameplay) search for something else.

As much goose as it can get. Be a**hole, steal things, destroy things, troll people. Very fun.

Cat game = good game.

I was absolutely hyped once i saw the release trailer, but the somehow forgot about Stray. I absolutely like allmost every aspect of the game. Fun movement, good environment, nice characters, enough pots and paint cans, perfect ammount of exploration and a very good thought out story line.
The visuals are stunning, the puzzles intuitive but not allways easy, the humor good. And an god tier soundtrack.

There is no reason to not play Stray.

While i think that the gameplay is very much fun because of it's way of actually using horror elements like monsters and chases in the lidar genre, i am a bit disappointed of the pretty much ignorable story. I feel like the main point of the story, (beeing a convict that works of his sentence) could be used way more interestingly than just measuring how long it took you to play through the game. The tablets you can find, which explain the story, are rarely interesting, and honestly allmost wouldnt make a difference if ignored. Replay value is also allmost nonexistent. The Achievements are way to grindy to be fun.

TL;DR: Only good review because good gameplay. Ignorable story, bad achievements, replay value: none. Go play The Voidness if you want good lidar horror

Having played the first title of the "The Uncertain" series, i definetly like how this one has improved the flaws of its predecessor.
The biggest improvements first:
The movement is still a bit slow, but isn't delayed and bulky anymore. It feels pretty alright.
The fixed angles of the camera are positioned more natural, so it doesn't feel like it is working against you.
The minigames are actually fun, and the puzzles sometimes do need a bit of thinking to solve them.
The voice acting is now actually good, instead of mid.
The characters aren't flat anymore, and the writing is much better.
Your actions have consequnces to the story.

I think that gameplay and story wise, Light At The End absolutely has improved upon The Last Quiet Day. It is stil a bit short, but has actual replay value this time, because of giving consequences for your actions instead of just replaying for achievements.

Gameplay aside, i would recommend the game because of it's story. I still like the setting, and hope that future games will expand it in a good way.
