I like video games, have been gaming since atari 2600 back in 1983 when was 7 years of age.
Remember fondly going to arcades at all the pizza places as a kid.
When I started earning a living as I grew older, I began to collect SNES and Sega Genesis video cartridges at pawn shops and used sporting goods shops.. I was able to hold onto my atari 5200 collection until 2009, which I acquired in 1987. That was the early stage of my gaming life. The late stage of my gaming life has been always following emulation with the invention of MAME in 1998. We new very quickly that every single arcade game in existence could be emulated with very small file sizes so we simpy followed that progression. While I enjoyed playstation 1 and 2, I rarely used ps3, 4, or 5 and i regret it. I purchased an Xbox one and I was also an XBOX Live arcade collector on the xbox 360.. ebay became a place where I accumulated around 120 xbox discs.. xbox 360 live arcade was alot of fun. XBOX ONE is alot of fun.. now its perfectly or not so perfectly emulated on my PC which is cool. I joined steam in 2012 not intending to play many more video games (because I was a WoW player of 7 years with a 3 year break in between... so I was a WoW finisher from Wrath of the Lich King thru Mists of Pandaria.. I did not play through Burning Crusade until I bought Wrath in 2009 (recount kept me coming back) quit WoW in 2014 to enjoy Diablo 3 gameplay through paragon leveling . Steam has been a breath of fresh air....,always so exciting and the evolution of gaming has hit a pinnacle of excellence that is a complete joy and wonder to take in,.. I am thankful for all of the wonderful people i have met here thru similar interests and wouldn't trade it for the world.. thanks all!!
