You come first in your life. To put someone ahead of yourself that you didn't bring into this world, isn't fair for you or them. It's easy to become so invested in someone that you feel like it wouldn't be possible to go on without them. On the other side of that coin, it's awful to feel like someone needs you, specifically you, to survive. There are cases where this is unavoidably a thing and it's no-ones fault. You should work to avoid letting something like that happen if you can. On a related note, almost nobody thinks about you as much as you think they do. To obsess over someone will put them ahead of you and eventually make for unfair expectations that they can't satisfy.

How you treat yourself manifests in the way you percieve and treat the people around you. If you want an easier time being as fair as possible to everyone, be fair to yourself.

Work toward being your best self. Challenging yourself is necessary for growth. Other than that, your best self is whatever you make it out to be.

Strive for excellence‚ not perfection. Perfectionism can be helpful for learning something new; if taken to the extreme however, it can greatly hinder your creative output. I'm not saying you can't be a perfectionist! I just believe theres a balance to be had if you want to make the most of yourself.

Everyone is cringe to somebody and being cringe is okay. Be proud of who you are and how much you've grown as a person.

Try to remember and consider the context of the things you're told. Without understanding the context of what you know it becomes much more difficult to discern what is from what likely is, what likely is from what may be, what may be from what likely isn't, and what likely isn't from complete falsehoods. With that in mind, give time to what people tell you about the world and come to your own conclusions about whatever you think may be true.

This is my truth and how I live. Any idea I shared here can be taken too far if viewed as a hard and fast rule. You should be careful not to accept any of it as always true and also consider things within the context of your own life. There are exceptions to almost everything and this is just whats helped me so far toward living a healthy and happy life with the unique issues I face. I don't really know much with absolute certainty. It would be foolish to expect any of my ideas to help others in the same way that they've helped me. There's a balance to be had with everything.
