One Word:
Overcomplicated.
One phrase:
The game starts off too hard and doesn't get any better.
Wait, it starts hard...

...Yeah let's go back to Hong Kong 97.

This one's okay, but it's not the kind of game you'd spend hours playing. I mean, it's a bit interesting to play, but not really fun enough for a hardcore gamer such as myself. This one's for the casuals out there.

When you start off the game, you're greeted to the controls. Nice and simple. As stated in the system requirements you really can't even try to play this without a real mouse. Then, you're off. Obviously, this is one of those physics games without any real theme or setting, so don't expect any of that. Now, here's the best part of the game: you get to fling your little dot around the rectanges and collect the little squares (that extend into collumns when you're going fast).
Sounds fun, right?

Right?

Yeah, it is, but the game tends to get quite boring once you've been playing for a few minutes or so.
It's a nice idea, but I'm not sure if Steam was the right place for it. This feels like something that should I should be playing on my Android phone as opposed to on my laptop.
And, I know it sounds like I'm just plain out complaining, but the music kinda doesn't fit with the theme. It's great, but really doesn't belong with the game.

This one's kinda stuck in the middle for me. Likewise, it gets a lukewarm 3/5 stars.

Nice game. My favorite part is how the game pokes fun at older DOS game and their extremely low video and sound quality (See Mega Man for DOS). The only thing missing is the fake DOS console. For those who want THRILLING GRAPHIC QUALITY, try the SIXTEEN COLOR EGA OPTION!
The game is a Metroid/Castlevania platformer and, likewise, you're not guided the least bit. Just like in the good ol' days. Oh, and there's no map. Goodie! Be prepared to spend hours on end trying to find items.

It's ok, but don't expect the full retail game experience from it. I mean, it's a free game that took only a minute to download: the game doesn't have much to it.

Overall, the best flight, err, FLY simulator out there (if there are any others...).
