Love the game, but not being able to play offline is somewhat disappointing, as it appears the game wont execute if the login verification fails. Hopefully they will patch this out some day.

Baezult 2, like it's predecessor, is a puzzle platformer inspired by Indiana Jones, pitfalling and tomb raiding.

The game is divided in 5 distinct areas, all of which have a secret collectible, needed in order to get 100% completion.
The platforming can be frustrating at times, requiring precise timing and repetition. There are traps you can not avoid, and the only way to proceed is to memorize their locations.
Puzzles are, in most part, intuitive an fun to do. There was only 1 puzzle in the entire game I found sort of hard, it was in the 4th area and was optional to get the collectible, but, after I solved it, it seemed pretty obvious.

Controls require some getting used to, like jumping and then pressing the desired direction when in a tight space between some spikes, and the ladder climbing speed, which is a lot faster than your walking speed. Otherwise, once you get the hang of it, controlling your tiny dungeon robber is responsive enough.

High Hell is a game that speaks to my nostalgia in a language my nostalgia understands all too well.

You see HH is like the fast paced shooters of old. Except you only have a rail gun. And the levels are bite-sized. And there are shlongs. Ok so its not like the shooters of old in many ways , but it is in the ways that count. You know what I'm talking about. the TENSO effect. You feel pumped playing HH in the same way you used to feel pumped playing a match of Quake 3 at the local web cafe with your buds.
But be warned , even tho I have pretty much played trough the game several times , it doestn't offer much replay value. Sure there are some collectables and some of the levels offer several paths that you can take , but its pretty much a linear experience, yet the dope OST and the not-so subtle jokes make it a worthwhile one.

Baezult will make you cry.

Sure , it starts innocent and easy enough , but once you get to the temple rooms , oh boy , you better put some padding on the walls , because you will be throwing shjt. The game starts you off with some puzzles and light platforming , but later turns into a hardcore platformer requiring precise timing more than anything else. The retro aesthetic and sound are pleasant , and the more intense levels translate that well with the change in the color scheme.

Probably one of the better games you can get for free on steam.

Starts off as a cute puzzle platformer, but it gets deeper the more you play. I played a twinstick shooter minigame while riding the subway to an underground city. A couple of hours later I spoke to an interdimensional being about god, creation and the meaning of life. Soundtrack is pretty dope as well.

What is Ninjahtic? Ninjahtic is a fun platformer , that requires more and more skill the further you go. It also requires good space awareness. See, the game is kind of like an open world metroidvania , except you don't get new skills or stuff , you just need keycards to proceed in the different areas , some time the keycard you need will be in an area that you need a different keycard to enter , and so on. So if you , like me , play the game with long breaks (I'm talking 2 days between play sessions) you can get easily confused as to where you have already been , and where you needed to go. But that is what makes this so much fun, that is what made me feel like a kid playing on my knockoff nintendo way back. The graphics sure helped too . Well , I haven't played a game that made me stop for a moment and take notes or draw a map , in a long time. Combat is pretty fun as well , with some rooms requiring you to kill a specific enemy in a certain spot with a certain attack (you basically have 2 attacks , depending on which direction you are pressing the analogue stick in , while you are mashing X) in order for their dead body to press a pressure plate located somewhere in the room. Every now and again you will meet a boss , and on later stages even two at once , which add a whole new level of challenge , seeing how everything insta kills you and every time you die enemies respawn with full health. Oh , almost forgot to mention , different types of enemies have different HP and mostly require multiple hits to die. They also have different attacks , like , melee , lasers , and electric shock waves, which adds some tactical element to combat.

Rime is a game about loss.

If you have lost a father figure not too long ago , don't play this game. I cried like a little child in the end. 10/10

I will try to add a propper review , when I have regained my emotional stability.

Mediocre , but ok to pass the time. Reminds me of Mercenaries 2 , but you are easier to kill
